Good Price for a Quality Pellet
Zupreem delivers a great product that is a good compromise between the high-end pellets that are costly and a quality pellet that’s a good price. Along with a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables and some lean protein, Zupreem offers my five birds nutritional balance to ensure they are getting enough protein and fat ratio. We feed ‘chop’ salad and zurpeem, and we sometimes mix in TOPPS, but the birds just like the colorful Zurpreem better. I don’tknow about flavor because I don’t eat bird food, but they smell and look better than the higher end pellets too.I have five parrots and we feed twice per day with fresh food, so we go through a lot of pellets. We give the leftovers to the squirrel friends in the back yard and they LOVE it, as do the wild blue jays and cardinals. I love living in a bird zone so we can see and feed these beautiful wild brds too.Zupreem is loved by the flock!

I got this for half the per pound price of my local pet shop. The only difference is that my Macaw totally shuns the round orange ones in this food, where he has always liked them before. It is the same food, so it is weird that he doesnât like them in this batch of food. Unfortunately, there are more round orange ones than any of the others, but I figure that I saved enough money to waste a bit. My chickens get them, so itâs not totally wasted, just pricey chicken food!I did run all of the food through a 24 hour cycle in the freezer to eliminate any hatching of bug eggs. This is NIT meant to disparage either this brand or the seller – ALL grain based foods are allowed a % of bug parts and pet food usually is allowed even more. When your food shows up with Weevils, they usually have hatched out of it, not gotten into it. (I do this with any grain based products I buy in bulk and store for a while. I recommend everyone doing it. I simply transfer to a smaller container and do multiple 24 hour runs by emptying the treated container, refilling and running another cycle. Sounds like a pita, but not as much as losing your food item to pests and having to clean up and exterminate them.
