Formulated as a source of nutritious food and calcium to complement a healthy tortoise diet.
Made with a unique blend of spineless cactus, alfalfa, and carrots inside a chewable calcium base.
Provides enrichment and helps prevent overgrown beaks as your pal chews on the block to get to the food inside.
Perfect to provide food while you’re away from home or as a healthy, supplemental treat anytime.
Formula is proudly made in the USA with a tropical fruit flavor and no artificial preservatives.
Customers say
Customers find the calcium block to be of good quality. The durability receives mixed feedback – while some say it lasts quite a while, others mention it’s too hard for small tortoises to break. Customers disagree on the size, with some finding it appropriate for larger tortoises while others say it’s too large for small ones. Moreover, customers report that their tortoises show no interest in the product and refuse to eat it.

Exciting Item
My small box turtle is getting use to this. I pushed it down in her tank so that it would be eye level. She nibbles on it throughout the day and seems to like it.

Took some time, but loves it!
My red-footed tortoise did not even look at it for about the first month it was in his cage, but now he can’t get enough of it! He loves it and I will be ordering another one soon. I placed it along his pathway to his food and water, so after a while, he finally decided to check it out and give it a try after walking by it every day.

Can’t get tortoise to look at it
Came on time and is as described. My desert tortoise just isn’t eating it. I don’t think he associates it with food.

Not for my torts
The block seems fine. My torts just don’t seem to see this as food. They walk over it and shove it to the side. Even when they are tapping the glass to request more food they ignore the block. I guess it just isn’t a banquet to my babies. They love their fresh kale, but whatever vegetables this is made of they must not like it. That said it certainly doesn’t hurt them, so I would recommend you give it a try and see if your shell babies can use it to get some added nutrition.

Useless
Useless product. My tortoise has not even made an attempt to take a single bite. Besides, it is so hard that you need a hammer to break it.
