    Great Flake Food for tropheus
My choice for Tropheus. They eat it up and I’ve never run into Bloat issues feeding this.

    Balanced diet for peacock cichlids
My peacock African cichlids love it. Helps keep the color. Also feed northfin cichlid food. Hapachromis needs this too.

This is the best fish food out there for most fish kept at …
This is the best fish food out there for most fish kept at home in an aquarium, whether they’re herbivores or omnivores. All of my fish have liked this food and because it comes in “large – small” flakes, see the picture I took inside the container. You can take a large pinch of the flakes and actually be quite creative with the food. What I mean is, for small fish —you break it up into finer pieces so they can eat it. I feed the food to Nano Fish such as Celestial Pearl Danios, Golden Zebra Loaches and Corydoras, Clown and common plecos, small dime sized Severums, even N. Brichardi fry, I just grind it up in my fingers and it has worked. I can also take a huge pinch and drop it into the water, allowing it to submerge which make the flakes bind together in a large bunch. This makes for a nice “sandwich type” of bite. So my larger fish chow it down as well. It must taste good as all of the fish eat and seem to enjoy it. I have never tasted it myself, but it does smell salty like seaweed, and afterall… blue-green plant plankton is one of the primary ingredients. If you read the the back of the 4oz. Economy size container, which is the one I have always purchased it mentions most general species of fish. I found out about it as I was having a conversation with a gentleman at a LFS and I told him that I wanted to give my fish a healthy food that also make their colors pop more and he recommended the ZooMed SPIRULINA 20. If you read the description is does have a subtle mention, of “Natural Color Enhancer”. I feel like this food is the food that experienced fish keeping hobbyists use and ZooMed is a company that started out in California and locations which are local to me, so I like supporting them.

    Our community tanks favorite food
We introduced this to our community tank and now it’s all they will eat. We’ve tried other flakes when we’ve run out of this and are waiting for it to come and they won’t eat it. I’m always worried it’ll become unavailable one day and I’m going to be panicking to find something they’ll eat again. They love it!!

I bought this for my fish to maybe switch but considering the price I don’t think I’ll buy this again. A bit expensive. My fish eat it and it looks like a great product.
