They like its appearance, with one customer noting it creates a miniature jungle look. Whites Tree Frog Loves It (warning about the glue though)
Looks like a mushroom, feels like frim foam. Put this into a whites tree frog set up and she has already hung out on it 🙂 I actually used gorilla glue to hold it in because it cures quicker than the silicone and is safe once cured (many set ups use this for backgrounds and setting branches).Warning: I got curious about the silicone adhesive though and ended up trying it out on a vine and i immediately regretted doing so while a frog was in the enclosure. The strong acidic/vinegar smell while curing was terrible and I was worried it was going to burn the frogs skin through the air since they are in a humid enclosure with porous skin. I had to move her back into her make-shift quarantine for the night till it cured. when it was set though the smell did disappear and the vine was firmly in place so I suggest if you are going to use the included glue do so before adding creatures or remove them for a day to avoid any respiratory/health issues. I won’t dock a star for that though since it’s easy enough to work around.

Perfect for any Tropical Environment.
I recently bought four of these ledges, all of them are in use for my Golden Skink. It makes the cage look like a miniature jungle, and I can only guess the lizard is satisfied with the environment as well. They are light, and the glue used is strong enough to keep a hefty reptile on.

Bigger than I thought
The ledge is larger than I thought, and thicker. The adhesive that comes with it makes it stick really well to the tank! Although, my gecko seems to prefer hiding under it than sitting on top of it.

BIG!
Way bigger than expected! I donât want it to be permanent in my crested geckos enclosure as I move stuff around so I bought some suction cups and stuck them on with aquarium sealant!

mushroom ledge
Delivered fast but did not stick very well to side of tank, even with the glue it came with. Ended up just getting some plants and a covered home the gecko can go into instead. Does not clean well either

Looks Good, but Hard to Install
Looks great in the terrarium. My gecko doesn’t use it as much as I wish he did, but it adds to the overall feel of the cage. It is a bit of a pain to install, as the animal has to be out of the cage for 24 hours while the glue dries (mine wasn’t happy about this) and it can never be moved around or taken out. However, I am happy with it, and my gecko uses it sometimes. Good for price.

Make this into a magnet ledge!
I ordered this ledge and four neodymium magnets (50mm x 16mm N50). I drilled two holes, slightly bigger than the magnet, from the back of the ledge and then super glued two of the magnets in the holes. The other two magnets, placed on the outside of the terrarium glass, hold the ledge really tight and it’s perfect for our anole. Easy to remove, easy to clean.

Doesn’t stick well.
Didn’t stick, no matter what I tried, until I super glued some strong magnets to the back of the ledge, and used a second set of magnets on the opposite side of the glass. Not great, but not horrible. Wouldn’t buy them again, but since my cresties have already pooped on them, returning them seems shady.

This was very easy to assemble and my geckos love it. it comes with a small tube of silicone that is a bit smelly but the odour goes after 24 hours. will definitely buy again!! When they say small they really do mean small. There is only space for 1 fully grown gecko to perch himself on at any one time.

I installed magnets for easy cleaning.

good product for price didn’t use silicone glue that came with them used hot glue gun instead as no fumes as need to leave 24 hrs before can put frogs back in tank if use silicone lot cheaper than the magnet ones

Kept falling off the terrarium glass. So dangerous! I’m surprised it didn’t hit my crestie!

The material used for the ledge itself is rather porous so Iâm concerned with it being in a high humidity enclosure that mold will grow. It also didnât come with silicone so now I have to buy a tube of silicone.
