Customers say
Customers find the reptile hammock works well as a climbing wall section and fits great in 20-gallon long tanks. The hammock is easy to clean and works particularly well for leopard geckos, with one customer noting it can hold a 100g lizard. While some customers report the hammock remains in place for months, others mention it falls off after a few days. The suction cups receive mixed feedback, with some finding them very good while others say they don’t work, and customers disagree on the hammock’s sturdiness.

Best lizard lounge!
Our iguana is about 4-5 inches from nose to the beginning of his tail. We bought this hammock for him and he *loves* it. He’s currently in a Zilla vertical enclosure that’s 12×18 and the hammock is a good fit. It covers about half of the cage and I wouldn’t recommend the medium or large sizes for an enclosure of this size. The suction cups have to be pressed very firmly against the glass in order to adhere. At first you think they’re not going to work, but when you put enough pressure they adhere and stay there. The suction cups and the glass have to be clean to adhere well. We’ve not had any trouble with the holes in the net pulling off of the suction cups’ bases, but our iguana is still very small. Too much weight might cause the holes to slip off the suction cups and result in a fall, so he’ll definitely be getting a larger hammock when we increase the size of his cage. And this is very easy to clean! We simply take it out to the laundry tub, rinse off any wastes and scrub it (along with all the other cage fittings) with dish soap and a scrub brush. Then we give it a quick spray with disinfectant and it’s good to go. The hammock material is rubbery and flexible, with very little odor. It’s ventilated, but the holes aren’t large enough to catch his little toes. The best part is that he loves this thing and is almost never out of it.

My leopard gecko loves it!
The instructions help guide you on what to do with the suction cups when it didnât stick, but I didnât read them at first lol and all I did was spray the suction cups with water and also the area in which I was placing them and it was able to stick on successfully to the tank!!

Toilet in the sky
Got this as a addition to my leopard geckos tank. I figured that he likes climbing, so he’d probably like this.It took a week or two for him to even muster up the courage to use the lizard ladder to climb up to it. I even put him up there once by hand and he looked scared and climbed right down (by lowering himself on to the moist hide and down from there because he cant/won’t use the lizard ladder to climb back down… Not unlike a cat climbing up a tree and getting stuck). Not for another week or two (tonight) did I actually see him crawl up on his own again, but I had a suspicion that he was going up when no one was looking or I was asleep in the past. Why you ask? Because of the “presents” (so to speak) that he left up there for me to clean up the next day. Tonight I actually watched him crawl up there, lift his hind legs, and let a big one out. Some even conveniently dripped through so I could clean not 1, but 2 spots.Haha, that little pest. But I digress. This is still a good product. I’m sure he’ll grow to like it as more than a toilet at some point.Someone is definitely making bank off of a triangular piece of mesh with a few suction cups attached.

My red eared slider likes perching on it
I saw some people use this with their turtles, so I wanted to give it a go. I purchased the small size.It arrived packaged just like the listing photo depicts, and after rinsing it in some warm water, I put it in my tank. Before applying, I made sure that my aquarium’s glass was clean and free of any debris. Then I wet my suction cups in the aquarium water and it’s been stuck for the last month or so since. It measures: Shortest lengths: approximately 10.5 inches. Longest length: approximately 14.5 inches.Size is just fine for my 4 inch red eared slider to lay out on. It likes to grab onto the edge and chill like that (even found him sleeping this way), and he gets on it to lay out when he thinks he’s alone.Overall, I’m glad I decided to give it a go. It’s a cheap piece that provides a little enrichment to my turtle’s tank. I was a little apprehensive after reading so many reviews on bad suction cups, etc. But every time I’ve had a product with suction cups there are reviews like that. I’ve personally never had an issue. Just made sure my glass and the cups were clean and wet before sticking them on.

Doesnât really last
The suctions donât last long unfortunately. It was great to have and my gecko loved it but after 2 months the suctions didnât stay and it was impossible to keep it on. Oh well, may by in the future again

Excellent product, worked perfectly
I was worried this would be too big for my tank as I was buying it for my White Tree Frog. I couldn’t find a small hammock or decor piece anywhere in store, this was my only hope. It ended up working out great. My frog loves it, therefore I am happy! The suction was difficult at first but if you wet it slightly it seems to cling to the glass better.

Leopard Gecko loves it
Itâs perfect for even small reptiles like a leopard geckos. Mine loves his, I have it above his heat spot so he can still be slightly warm but not directly on the stone heater if he doesnât want to. It also gives him a step to climb onto his plants

Good suction, sturdy material
I purchased this small reptile hammock for a 20G Long tank. My leopard gecko uses the branches and rocks in her habitat to get up to the hammock in the corner top of her cage. She loves it. I have put it on the cool side of her tank, but I am actually tempted to get the reptile ladder and put another hammock on the hot side as well. I like this because it adds height to her climbing options and a safe place to rest. The suction cups have stuck very sturdily with no problem. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add a climbing spot to their reptile habitats.

This is a great product. Our axolotl uses it as a hammock and he will also move it up higher to create a second hiding spot (His hide is below the hammock). Cleans well and suctions very well. Suction cups don’t get discolored either.

Great hammock for my axolotl he really loved it. Value for money and it stays stuck on the glass inside the tank.

I know these are meant for “reptile” enclosures but I had to try these in my axolotl tank after doing distinctive research. (those are my babies) Turns out the materials are completely safe as long as they don’t start to un-thread.They are a great way to give your axolotl another place to rest and explore. My Ozzy & Sharron, love theirs. The best part about it is sometimes getting a hide for a chucky axolotl can be tricky without them ripping up their gills or sides. I was able to lower Sharrons to create and cave like home for her and now without any problems she can rest, hide and move around under her hammock. Ozzy well he likes to balance on the edge on one foot.Very happy with my purchase

Bought one for each of my corn snakes, my normal boy used to curl up on top of his exp terra Boston fern and has done since he was 1 or 2 months old, but I noticed that heâd gotten too fat for it and kept tipping it over whenever he laid on it. Iâve not seen him use it much, but I got one for my amel girl too because she climbs all over the place and used to slither onto the rim of her tank where the lid connects. Whenever sheâs out and about sheâs alwaha climbing up and down or just laid lazing in her little hammock.Theyâre both in the exo terra flat faunarium, two of the suction cups are on the flat side, with the other one I removed the cup (itâs easy) and put it in an air hole slot and then reattached the cup and stuck it to the outside of the tank.
