This is so easy-to-use to give your hermit crabs fresh water that they will love and a cheaper alternative they also give a package to try out the salt water

Free sample included
This water conditioner was blue, which I wasn’t expecting since the last few products I had were clear. However, unlike those other products, this conditioner from Zoo Med comes in a sort of squirt bottle, which is very useful. Instead of having to measure with a spoon (like those other products that just have a large opening), I can squirt just a few drops at a time into my hermit crab’s water. This helps cut down on the waste from using too much product in the water.Zoo Med also included a free sample of their step 2 product for salt water, which hermit crabs also need in addition to conditioned tap water. I already had salt water conditioner, but it was helpful of them to include the sample.Over all, I’m pleased with the quality of product.

They drink it
I secretly replaced my hermit crabs’ regular tap water with water treated using Zoo Med Hermit Crab Drinking Water Conditioner. After this blind taste test I asked my hermit crabs what they thought and they wouldn’t respond. But as far as I can tell, they like it. As for me, considering the cost, it seems like it’s enough to last a while, so I won’t complain…. unlike my kids who wanted these stinkin’ crabs but refuse to take care of them. Fun fact: Hermit crabs can live up to 30 years, which I didn’t know before I got them for my kids. So I assume I’ll be buying plenty more of this stuff when my kids go off to college and leave them for me to continue dealing with. Sigh….

Easy alternative to bottled water
We purchased this to stop buying bottled water for our hermit crab. Tap water can be dangerous for them. With this, once the bottle of water is empty, my son can walk down the hall to refill it from the bathroom sink, put in a few drops of this, and he has crab-safe water again. It is handy and cheaper than using bottled water every time. Our crab is small and she still goes through tons of water!

Very economical water treatment for crabs
This kit is an inexpensive way to make tap water safe for your crabs. Can be used to make fresh water, or as a pretreatment for making salt water. Very economical way to make safe fresh water for your crabs! Handy to keep around even if you usually use distilled water, in case you run out.

I use the Salt water and the Drinking water solution for my Hermit Crabs. Although, the Salt Water solution is used up faster. The relative drops are mixed with a 500 ml bottle of spring water, one for salt and one for drinking. My Hermit Crabs like to bathe in and drink from the two rectanglar containers I have set up for them.
