Great Substrate, Great Price
Iâve used this brand before but it was the âmulchâ mixture that Iâd gotten as thatâs all thatâs available in store. I was really excited to find this for such a good price. Itâs smooth without any splinters that I could feel when setting up my tarantulaâs enclosure. It seems to stay fairly moist without being wet, which is great because she doesnât like her soil wet. It smells heavenly to me but I also like the smell of a thunderstorm and freshly cut grass so take that as you will.

Creature soil is amazing for my bioactive tank setup! Itâs simple and the size makes it so easy to pour into my tank. Itâs dust free (imagine potting soil for your reptile) and the price is amazing! It hold up wonderfully even with my isopods !

Substrate
This substrate if great for insects and arachnids, however read what is in any substrate bags before purchasing them. Different beings can or cannot be around certain substrates, I read a review on this earlier that stated it is great for all reptiles as well as insects and arachnids which is false. All in all I would recommend this substrate for anyone who needs just a small amount for their small enclosures. This does hold moisture well so be careful not to over saturate it before putting it into any enclosures.
