Great product!
Our false chameleon loves her snails! Sometimes in the can we get large snails and have to cut them up…yuck! My husband has to do that! Other times we get small snails that are just the right size for her. I always order the same product, just sometimes different sizes come in the can. They are always sealed tight and ready for our Lyla girl. I keep them refrigerated after opening and I have never had an issue with them smelling up my fridge, the lid seals tight. Highly recommend!

Blue Tongue Skink Approved, But Bring a Knife
Iâm always looking for variety in my blue tongue skinkâs diet, and these canned snails are consistently a favorite. Theyâre a great source of protein and moisture, and my skink never hesitates to go for them, which is saying a lot, considering how picky they can be.The only downside is that the snail pieces are a bit large right out of the can. I usually end up cutting them into smaller chunks just to make them easier to manage, especially for younger or smaller skinks. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just something to be aware of.The can itself lasts me a while when refrigerated and used as a rotation item alongside other foods. No weird smells, no slime overload, and the packaging is solid.Overall, a great option to add variety and enrichment to your skinkâs diet. If youâve got a bluey who likes to keep things fancy, this is definitely worth adding to your feeding routine.

Great company, Great product
Great product, however if your pet is not used to being fed snails…..

No one liked it
Nothing liked this. Not my lizard, frogs or even my fish would eat this. Even fish that eat snails had zero interest.

Canât get any turtle to eat these
They actually look quite tasty to me however, Iâve tried these on multiple turtles, and they just snub their noses at it ⦠three different box turtles, an aquatic pond turtle â¦none of them would touch it; sometimes actually push it away. Maybe the fact theyâre missing the shells and not covered in slime makes them less appetizing.

Cuban False Chameleon did not like
My CFC did not like this at all, first time I watched her spit out food and turn her head when I tried to feed her.

Good treat for blue-tongue skinks
My blue tongue skink loves them. Amazon is requesting that I mention “thickness”, “value for money”, and “scent” so here goes…Thickness?: Well, the can is under 2 inches tall and less than 3 inches in diameter. The snails are half-inch and smaller little chunks that look like tiny brains.Value for money: It seems a bit pricey for “1.7 ounces” but it’s used mainly as a treat so it lasts a decent amount of time.Scent: Don’t stick your nose in the can and you’ll be fine. It’s dead snails chilling in “natural juices”. It smells exactly like that sounds. But the smell isn’t really strong, if you’re just scooping a couple out and delivering them to the your snail eater.

Peeling back the lid I was met with the small grave hoard of inert invertebrates. They didn’t smell bad. No, I didn’t take a big huff of snail air, but it didn’t flood the room with the smell of death like I expected. Thankfully it wasn’t soupy like I thought either. I carefully balanced one of the rubbery bodies on the shallow plastic “spoon” provided and offered it to my Blue tongue skink. The look of reptilian delight on her little potato head told me I had done a good. She munched the bouncy body and eagerly swallowed it down licking her lips and looking for more. 10/10 would recommend.

My blue tongue skink loves these! He has been really fussy lately and not eating much, so I bought him some of these as a treat and he (of course) devoured them. They don’t smell, they aren’t “icky” like some of the canned insects can be, and they come with a wee spoon. An excellent treat for your lizard friend!
