Fish love it, my favorite mbuna pellet to date.
A little on the expensive side, but my mbuna love it! The older size is perfect and the nutritional value is great for a ‘dry’ food. It is a bit on the expensive side, but it’s worth it to see the vitality and vivid colors of the fish. I also like that its slower sinking than many other pellets – This allows my fish to consume it before it gets lost in the substrate. As a result, there’s little to no food waste and I have no worries of it fouling the water.

I own a group of five Electric Blue Acaras that I got two and half months ago that were the size of a penny and a new Red Spotted Gold Severum who I have had for a week now. When my Acaras were small I used to soak this with Seachem Garlic Guard (health and immunity benefits) and mush this up and feed them and they loved it. I even fed them this without the garlic guard and they still went crazy for this. Now they have grown so much and are all very healthy. My severum was very shy and would always hide as well (new environment I understand) but this and the Krill Flakes made him get used to me and open up very quickly. He is always front and center now at feeding time. The water doesn’t cloud up and the food actually seems like it’s clean as the fish seem to be producing waste regularly and are very active.I’ve tried Hikari and Northfin with my cichlids but this is what I find them always cleaning up and being the most active on. Not only that their colors are nice and vibrant as well! The ingredients are krill, squid and spirulina which are all very healthy and irresistible ingredients for the fish and they always will eat these when you put them in the tank. Excellent growth, behavior, ingredients and brand.

My Electric Blue Acara and Albino Heckelie LOVE !!! this food. They were extremely picky prior to me purchasing this and now they look for it to enter the tank during feedings. They have become more active in the tank and more attentive when I am near the tank. Great choice for Cichlids.

Upon opening this product from the box noticed straight away the tub was not sealed on lid and no seal inside which I was reluctant to use this product to feed my cichlids as for the pellets inside looked like carp micro pellets which they probably are !
