Really nice hide
This hide and basking rock is actually really nice! My female ball python fits perfectly inside it, with a little room to spare. And sheâs a pretty big girl. I was pleasantly surprised that she seems totally comfortable with the large opening, too. The overall look of the rock is great; it has a very natural appearance that blends nicely into her enclosure and doesnât look overly fake like some other hides do.The material feels solid but not overly heavy. Itâs made from resin, so itâs lightweight enough to move when cleaning, but sturdy enough that it stays in place when my snake moves around inside. Speaking of cleaning, itâs super easy to wipe down and keep looking nice, which is awesome.What really sets this apart though, is that it actually doubles as a good basking spot. It gets nicely warm, so when my snake is tucked inside, sheâs also soaking up that heat. I love that it serves both purposes â a cozy hide and a warm basking area in one. Even though it was a bit pricier than I wouldâve liked, itâs absolutely worth it for the quality and functionality.

Very Large – Just what I’ve been looking for – Def Recommend!
This may be the largest enclosure/hide I’ve been able to find in this style & I couldn’t be happier with it! It arrived packaged very well, this isn’t going to break during shipping unless someone stands on the box lol. It’s exactly as described, I’m very happy with how large & sturdy it is! I’ve had a hard time finding a home/hide for my corn snake who is 5ish feet long & the only times I have seen these nice larger ones they are insanely expensive & I can’t justify that cost. This one is made very well & is totally reasonable cost wise!! I love how it’s a corner enclosure as well, so it’s nice & large for my snake to fit inside, but takes up the least amount of space by being up against the corner of his tank. It’s made very well in my opinion, it has a decent weight to it, so I’m not worried about it being fragile or breaking easily & it’s also made with the materials that makes it nice & easy to clean up as well, so that’s a place, since my current hide was made out of wood & wasn’t easy to disinfect. I really love this & would highly recommend!!

Very nice reptile platform / hide
This reptile resin platform / hide is great. It’s just as high and deep as my resin Zoo Med Giant Turtle Hut, which is what I’ve been using for the past 15+ years for my adult bearded dragons to bask on, but it’s about 2″ less in width. I wish it was a tad wider but adult beardies can still fit on the top resting spot. However they should have made the top resting spot completely flat as the Repti Zoo version has, but instead half of it is raised so lizards will unfortunately feel a bump under their stomach at all times, so for this reason I am deducting 1 star. The platform is designed to be put into a corner as the left and rear sides are completely flat to be put up against the enclosure’s sides. Resin is perfect furniture for reptiles because it gets nice and hot for proper food digestion, and is so easy to wipe clean with a natural disinfectant and a damp paper towel. It’s not absorbent like wood and cork bark which are porous and a haven for germs. The surfaces are a little rugged which makes it easier for a bearded dragon to climb up and down on. This platform has enough space for an adult beardie to crawl inside of and go to sleep in. I didn’t think I would like it as much as my sand-colored Repti Zoo version because it is darker with moss on each step but it looks very natural in its own way. Overall I’m happy with it as an excellent basking spot for my adult bearded dragons which gets nice and hot from their heat bulb and a nighttime hide.

Perfect Hide and Basking Combo for Bearded Dragons or Reptiles
The Hoeine XL hide and basking rock is a fantastic dual-purpose piece for terrarium setups. Itâs large enough for an adult bearded dragon to comfortably crawl under and rest on top, giving them both shade and heat access. The texture is realistic and looks great in a naturalistic enclosure. Itâs also surprisingly lightweight, which makes cleaning or repositioning simple. My snake uses it daily and seems to enjoy both basking and hiding under it. Highly recommend for lizards or even amphibians.

Practical and realistic lizard cave sunstone
This lizard cave and basking stone is generally quite good. The design is well-thought-out, with a flat top rock perfect for basking, and the cave below provides a sense of security for your pet. The material is sturdy, non-toxic, and resistant to tipping. The realistic appearance makes it a perfect fit for reptiles or aquariums. While the cave interior is a bit cramped for larger pets, overall, it’s both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

I absolutely love the rock!!!!
This XL Bearded Dragon and Basking Rock is massive!!! It measures about 12.4x8x7 with a hole about 3×6â large. This rock takes up a really large area of the 40 gallon breeder tank for my red eared slider. It is of really excellent quality! It looks fantastic and realistic in appearance. I neglected to get photos before I added it to the tank unfortunately. My turtle, Aaron, really loves the rock. He is able to climb up it to hide among his favorite plants for sleeping and hiding. The fish love hiding in the large hole as well when Aaron is in hunting mode. It is the best rock for my turtle/fish tank! It gives them more of a natural feel to their environment. Itâs hard to see but the turtle and fish absolutely love it! Definitely worth the money for sure.
