Great Little Dish for Giant Pixie Frog
I bought this dish (small size) for my Giant Pixie Frog (or African Bullfrog). Normally I feed him nightcrawlers, but I decided to supplement some large black soldier fly larvae as an extra bit of nutrition. Because the larvae like to burrow and pupate into flying insects, I wanted a bowl that would keep them from getting into the dirt while also allowing my frog to eat them. This bowl seems to keep them contained pretty well. I probably would get the larger bowl in the future, however, if I wanted to put dubias in there. The lip around the edge definitely helps keep the larvae in and it’s just big enough that my frog can eat out of it and see into it. Additionally, being ceramic, it’s super easy to clean. My only problems with the bowl is that 1) smaller larvae (or other small/skinny feeders) can hide under the lip which makes it a little harder for my frog to see them. And 2) because the small bowl is pretty shallow, it fills up with substrate after one feeding. (I use Josh’s Frogs Coco Cradle substrate) Both of those problems can be resolved though by 1) getting the next size up and/or 2) simply emptying the bowl out.Overall, I recommend. Just make sure you get the right size for your pet and feeders!

    Awesome little bowl
I just got a bearded dragon. It’s very tiny. This ball is great. He has no problem accessing it and the worms in the roaches can’t climb out. I highly recommend you for small animals like baby dragons, chickens, etc..

No Mealies OR Mealybugs In Substrate!
I bought two of these bowls, one for each of my leopard geckos. These bowls are made very nicely, and would also work as water bowls if you wanted them to be such, as they are water proof. The white is really nice and looks sleek against everything else in the enclosures, it’s also relatively low profile, which is also nice. The bowl holds anything from mealworms to mealworm beetles and I’m assuming it would also be able to hold some Dubia or Discoid roaches in it if you put them into it. Overall these bowls work well, and are well worth how much they cost to eliminate the headache of finding mealworms in the weirdest of places. I’d recommend this bowl to anyone with reptiles that eat live insects.

    Good for water dish
Value for money was good. Use as a water source is good. Use for meal worms or super worms, they still crawled out of. Nice and small for smaller terrariums.

    Largest size is quite big!
I bought the largest size based off reviews and wow is it big! Probably bigger than we needed for a baby dragon, but he didn’t have a problem getting in or out. The ledge itself is an inch and the lip is perfect for worms not getting out. I’ve had the bowl for about 4 months now so beardie is much bigger and the larger bowl size is nice, but honestly it’s not necessary. I probably would have ordered 1 size smaller in hindsight but I have not had any issues with it, and not a single worm has escaped. The size is not any fault to the seller (I didn’t read the measurements before I ordered so I just kept it and still use it daily). I’ll try to update this later with a photo, but imagine the size of a salad plate with sides. The bowl still works great and it fits in his cage fine, but we have a 50gal tank so he has a lot of room. Initially we had it in his 20 gal tank and it was a bit overwhelming, but certainly still doable. Besides this bowl in the 20 gal tank, he still had his large basking rock, tall climbing plant, 9 inch log, big water basin, and a small fresh greens bowl and he still had about 30% of the tank floor to move around as a baby so the largest size does still work for younger beardies if you have a 20 gal tank. I wouldn’t put an adult beardie in a tank with this little walking space but then again a 20gal tank would be too small for an adult beardie anyway.

    Nice!
It sadly had a chip on the side when it arrived. It’s a nice bowl though I got a large it’s fairly deep and heavy but also lightweight. Easy to clean!

    this product is amazing!
this works very well for my leopard gecko! it keeps dubia roaches and his mealworms safe from escaping creating a easy way for him to eat. I just wish there were more colors but the orange is quite pretty

it works great, a few worms escaped but most didnt
it works great and is quality, it’s easy to clean and easy to tell when it has dirt or sand it in due to the solid white color. it works great as a second water dish. surprised how sturdy and thick it is for the price.

There was no bubble wrap to prevent them from breaking, so one did arrive in half, however the good one is great quality.

These dishes are great! The worms really can’t climb out and my leopard gecko is able to “catch” and see them easily (if you know, you know 😑)

Best bowls. Have a large bearded dragon. His sight and aim are not the best (he’s older). I have had such a hard time with his feeding lately. These bowls are the best. Have tried different types before – but these work. Not only do his superworms stay inside (for hours) he can see them and get them. He’s not a big veggie fruit guy, but I stick some in with the worms and they all go down. These are excellent. Highly recommend. Just buy them.
