【DURABLE & STURDY】This suet feeder for outside hanging is made of cedar wood for enhanced durability. It can hold a standard-sized suet cake and measures about 11 inches in length (including the hanging rope) and 8.2 inches in width. For better results, place it in a semi-sheltered location and avoid long-term heavy rain. Regular care helps prevent cracking and extends its service life.
【TAIL PROP DESIGN】The tail support board design of bird suet holder allows birds with longer tail feathers (like woodpeckers) to balance for more comfortable feeding. Wire Mesh provides a place for birds to grab when they feed. Scientific and rational design makes it easier to attract various wild birds.
【MOVABLE COVER&MESH】The movable cover and wire mesh make it easier to refill food and clean the wooden bird feeder without additional tools. It will work perfectly as a decoration of your yard.
【WIDE APPLICATION】This wild bird feeder can work not only as a suet cage, but is also suitable for seed cakes, mealworm cakes, fruit, bread or nesting materials. It has excellent anti-rust features, which is suitable all year round. The hanging rope makes it simple to hang the feeder anywhere you want, like on shepherds hook, on tree branch, and so on. This makes it an ideal gift for bird lovers.
【AFTER-SALES SERVICE】Customer satisfaction is our long-last Pursuit. Gbekery provides efficient after-sales service. If you ever have a problem with the suet holder, you can contact us at any time directly, we will provide you with a solution as soon as possible.

Customers say

Customers report that woodpeckers love this suet feeder, find it well-made and easy to fill, and appreciate its nice appearance. However, the feeder’s durability is concerning, with multiple customers reporting it fell apart after weeks of use. Moreover, squirrels pose a significant problem, as they chew the wood to pieces. While some customers find it good value, others express mixed opinions about its effectiveness.

Loved it, But Destroyed in 5 Months
I purchased this bird feeder right around 5 months ago. I want to start with my one negative… starting 5 days ago I noticed some damage on the feeder and yesterday I came into work and saw the bottom of the feeder on one side was fully destroyed, this caused the tail prop to be loose and it caused the screen to fall out. There also is some yucky looking black stains on the feeder now, I am not sure what it is. For these reasons I am removing a star. Now what I want to praise this feeder on is how much my birds LOVED this feeder. I had downy and red bellied woodpeckers that frequented this feeder, I do believe they liked the tail prop! I had another regular suet feeder (the standard metal case one) and they almost always choose this one. The downy woodpecker occasionally would drift to the other one but they seemed to always be drawn to this! This feeder was always easy for me to refill, I could remove the top without needing to remove the feeder from the tree. It is a little hard to explain, but the design of the lid was very good and held itself closed, when there was more weight on the feed the cables almost “held” the lid down. I never once saw any wildlife lifting the top and getting in. I did see squirrels try to open it but were never successful! (I would bet the squirrels were the ones to break into this. They would get frustrated and stroll off when they couldn’t get enough suet before but I never saw them chewing it.)I did throw this feeder away and before throwing it away I did inspect it. I am very happy to report that I did not see any rust! The build quality on this was fantastic, I can tell that good materials were used. I would for sure recommend this feeder to people, it just seems it might not be the best in my situation! If I need another feeder like this in a different location I would give it a try again.

    Great for Woodpeckers!
This is really easy, woodpecker feeder, to put suet blocks inside. They must certainly love it because it is unbelievable how often it ends up being empty

It works fine if everthing else is done right
The feeder is not what brings the birds. You must create the environment for the birds to come.1. Feed placed in safe place for birds like under a tree or bush so predators won’t get them.2. Accessible clean water must be near the feeder.3. A high quality suet must be inserted or they won’t come back.4. A seed feeder nearby helps to bring birds in who then went to the suet feeder. Good Luck.

    Not super durable.
This is nice but a bit cheaply made. Between the squirrels and the woodpeckers, this lasted about two weeks before one of the cages was pulled off.

    This feeder needs a perch!
This is an OK suet feeder; it’s cute and well made. It’s designed so that birds grasp onto the wire cage to eat the suet inside. However, no birds were using it. At all. They would approach it, then fly away! SO I got a fat twig, about 5″ long, and secured it through the wire cage and underneath the suet cake. That did the trick! Now, each bird will perch on the twig, and eat away at the suet. They look very comfortable! The feeder should be redesigned with a perch, in my opinion. Also, the cake is loose inside the cage, so I am using a standard 4″ square coaster behind the cake, so that it sits against the front of the cage. Sadly, I haven’t seen one single woodpecker use the feeder, although they come and peck for bugs in the tree that the feeder is hanging on.
