Surprisingly nice!
This cage really surprised me. There are a lot of acrylic and wooden hamster habitats on Amazon that look aesthetically amazing but are not suitable for actually housing an animal in for all sorts of reasons. Not the least of which is that they tend to be tiny and very shallow making them totally biologically inappropriate for hamsters and their needs. This specific cage is actually really nice and its more than functional for housing a hamster. Its actually quite large with way more living space than expected, excellent air flow and surprisingly nice depth. Whatsmore, the build quality is actually really nice, not cheap and flimsy as expected. Its not something that will be easy for your pet to escape from either. This cage looks fantastic.The sales page does imply that this is suitable for Guinea Pigs and Rats, this is not at all true, its far too small and totally inappropriate for those animals. But for a hamster or even gerbils (this is maybe a bit small but its better than many available gerbil cages). The slide out tray for changing bedding is a nice addition and the doors make it easy to access every corner of the habitat. I could see easily adding additional sections on to this to make it even nicer, while it is not necessarily made to do this, it would be very easy to rig something up to create a larger habitat with this due to its design.This obviously arrives needing to be fully assembled. Its not hard to do and it comes with excellent instructions. It even comes with a fairly nice screwdriver to set it up. Its a very simple assembly and takes maybe half an hour at most.

This wooden cage feels solid and well-constructed, with a smooth finish that wonât snag little paws. The pull-out tray makes cleaning simple and keeps the habitat hygienic. The double skylight doors provide easy access while giving pets ventilation and visibility. Its size is generous for a hamster, gerbil, or mouse, and has room for bedding, toys, and small hideouts. The design is functional without unnecessary frills, and the cage sits securely without wobbling. Other than missing a deep dig area, which can be added, this is a practical and roomy home for tiny animals.

Excellent small animal habitat
Very sturdy and functional easy to assemble high quality has an easy door opening and is not easily chewable. This is a definite upgrade for any small animal habitat you will absolutely love it it looks amazing and so easy to use it
