Good straw for outdoor feral cat houses

Our back yard cat loves this stuff! We built her a bed for the colder moths ahead in a small milk crate and now she actively adds to it with more hay that we keep in a bucket nearby and some feathers which she collects from the ground near trees and her own hunts. The quality of hay is good enough if you don’t plan on using it to grow anything.

If you are an avid gardener you need this stuff. My plants love the moisture retention that this straw gives. The amount of product you get for the price is great (and Iâm a big bargain shopper). It comes vacuum sealed and the size is great. Smells like normal straw, itâs lasted all season so itâs super durable and functional!

Iâve been looking for something to help top and retain moisture in my growing containers and this did the trick so far!Update: there are seeds mixed in the hay, so will sprout in the soil in your containers.

Straw was as described. Pack well in plastic bag. Had to order more as one pound wasnât quite enough for my two feral cat shelters. Soft and clean, smaller pieces so works well in cat beds. This should help the long term feral cats I watch over, even though Iâd rather see them in home but who knows, maybe with timeâ¦.but for now glad amazon offers these products to help. Iâm ordering early this year, but shipping didnât take very long.
