Nice window feeder that has held up remarkably well thus far at a great price point.
I usually only write cautionary type reviews to give my fellow online shoppers warnings about products I had problems with, but I enjoyed this feeder so much that I decided write a positive review to help those that are on the fence about buying it to give it a chance.First, I particularly like this design where the birds perch along the outer edge and stick their heads in to eat. It gives you a great frontal view of the bird and their backside does the business outside the feeder and not on the food. I saw one of the more expensive feeders actually list that as a negative for this feeder, really?The viewing area is a nice large rectangle that gives a great unobstructed view of both the birds that are feeding as well as through the window the feeder is attached to. The four suction cups do a great job of holding the feeder up as long as you take the time to clean the window surface thoroughly before mounting. I also used a tip I found online that if you add a small dab of olive oil to the suction cups, it will increase their hold. I use this trick with all suction cup holders, especially in the bathroom and it works great. One suction cup is capable of holding the entire feeder up, so as long as you check periodically that all four cups are gripping, the feeder shouldnât come crashing down. I had a squirrel jump from the deck next door onto the feeder from almost 10 feet away and not break or knock feeder down. In fact, all four suction cups held firmly. However, the squirrel did knock seeds all over the place and made off with a few peanuts.The rectangular shape of this feeder also makes it ideal for stacking. I actually purchased two of them and placed them side by side (before the squirrel strike) and then I had to rearrange them with one mounted below the other, doubling the amount of birds that can feed. The other great thing about the smaller profile of this feeder is that larger birds find it a bit more difficult to land and get inside, so they will usually leave this feeder alone if there is food that is more accessible to them. That gives the smaller birds with their own area to eat in peace. (Those pesky European Starlings) The Mourning Doves have figured out how to get inside the feeder and Blue Jays have no problem grabbing peanuts out of the feeder as well.Iâve only had the feeder a short time, so I donât know how well it will hold up during storms or long term out in the sun, but if my experience changes for the worse, I will make sure to adjust my rating accordingly. But at this price point I am really happy and will give it 5 stars.

Great design with one exception
This is a GREAT bird feeder, except for ONE design flaw, in my opinion. The water reservoir gets quickly filled up with shells and other castings from the adjacent food tray, so the water becomes nasty quite quickly. Otherwise, the suction cups work perfectly, the overhanging roof is just the right size, the ledge holds up to four birds (if theyâre behaving) and the design allows for a great view of our little feathered friends chomping down.

Hours of entertainment/stimulation for kitty
Kitty loves watching/attacking the birds. The best part is, I bought a privacy film for the window. So the birds canât see Kitty but boy can she see them! Provides hours of entertainment & stimulation for her. I love it! Pretty neat getting a close up of the birds too. Only complaint is that the âroofâ doesnât move once itâs in place so itâs difficult to pour in more bird seed. I have to sort of hand scoop which takes forever. But it sticks great. Very sturdy.

Adhesive backing is the key
I bought this 2 pack for the windows so my cats can bird watch. LOLSuper Happy that these have adhesive backing instead of suction cups. Adhesive is the way to go.We’ve had some strong winds the last few days in minnesota and these feeders stayed putThese are easy to clip together and rather sturdy I must say.Since I just got them, and its summer, the birds need to find them. They will come!We have a split entry house, so attaching them to the window, the squirrels won’t be able to get them. So far, so good!This 2 pack is the right price.I definitely recommend these adhesive backing over suction cups.

We bought his a while back and have had all kinds of small to medium sized birds visit. The adhesive is super strong as it hasn’t budged an inch even throughout the whole winter. It’s very easy remove from the window to clean and is really fun to watch. We mostly see Robins and finches but have seen Bluejays visit often as well.
