This birdfeeder sits right outside my dining room. Three months and still secure to the window! I live in Louisiana and this bird feeder has been through some pretty severe weather, including torrential downpours and winds that have exceeded 50mph on more than one occasion. Yet, you would never know by looking at the feeder!With the ability to hold a decent amount of seed (I prefer black oil sunflower seeds) I do not have to add more seed for at least ten days to two weeks while having daily visitors. The tray is super easy to remove, clean, and reinstallâ it does not affect the rest of the bird feeder so I am able to leave it attached to the window whenever I need to refill it.This was a gift for my eleven year old autistic son, and I am so glad that I made the decision to purchase it because it has brought him so much joy. I plan on purchasing another one (exact same thing) for his bedroom window.

Donât buy it itâs off centered, and itâs plexiglass and you try to fit it in the where youâre supposed to, and it breaks worthless!

Construction is great with strong suction cups, however, birds donât see it given that itâs clear. They can also run into the window easily which doesnât make it too practical. I would purchase another feeder, particularly one that can be hung near trees.
