Digestive Issue Solved
Great for my fussy toy poodle that has digestive issues. Feed this in the morning and is easy on his stomach. Before trying Wellness Digestive Health Food my dog would throw up every morning and refuse to eat. A little bit of this in this bowl along with something that would get him started eating, did the trick. Relieved to finally find a solution. I purchase the kibbles for small dogs in the 5 lb bag so that it stays fresh. (he really does notice) May cost more then the larger bag but well worth it.

Wellness is an amazing high-quality dog food! I have been purchasing it for over 20 years. Be sure to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE! I didn’t until it was too late. About two weeks after opening the bag, the food started smelling rancid and my dog wouldn’t eat it. It was then that I checked the expiration date. The bag I received had already passed the “use by” date when it arrived. I called the company and they were very gracious in offering me restitution. Unfortunately, I had to throw it out.

Disappointed
This is not a cheap dog food. Received the bag was filled with very small nuggets (smaller than normal). A lot of crumbs. It looked like this was the end of the production run. Normally they was bag this as a generic and sell for less. I paid $4 per pound and a lot I will have to throw away as it is not eatable.

We get this food every month for one of our pit mixes that has a sensitive stomach, rather than getting a medicated kidn from the vet that was over $120. After using this it seemed to help her allergies as well. Love it.

My dog loves the food, but his stomach does not..
I have a 3 year old mastiff mix rescue that is allergic/sensitive to basically everything and the only protein he can have is fish or duck. This product had a lot of great reviews that said it helps with skin/stomach issues so i decided to give it a shot. My dog wasnât a fan of his previous food which was a salmon based, so i figured Iâd give whitefish a try to see if heâll like it better. He loves the taste of it, he gobbles it up every time. Despite slowly introducing the new food, his stomach has been so upset since starting this. He had pure liquid diarrhea within a day, so we put him on a salmon and rice diet for a few days until he got back to normal. We slowly introduced the kibble back and the diarrhea immediately came back. I know every dog is different, but for the price of this itâs just frustrating. I had to spend another $70 on a different kind of food so my poor pup can feel like himself again. Also, this food REEKS.. it makes me gag every time I went to feed him.Edit to add: when i went to throw this food out, i found live MAGGOTS crawling around in there (photo attached of just one so you can see it) No wonder why my poor pup got so sick from it 𤮠Weâll be sticking to Purina Pro from now on.
