Worth the purchase
I love this headstall. It fits both my horses great. The leather is soft and a comfortable fit on their poll and face. I also love the buckle for the bit. Quick and easy change when needed

Great quality and has eye appeal
This headstall is so soft but not a flimsy headstall. The bit loops are reinforced and this will be a headstall to last decades if maintained.I am using a Myler combination bit and this headstall is going to be too long from bit loop to bit loop for my horse. I have an Allen Ranch headstall that is short enough.I may return but really hate to as this is true working headstall without the stiff leather.

I was pleasantly surprised!
I have to say, I’ve never felt harness leather that is so soft and supple. This is nicer than most of my other leather equipment that was made out of bridle leather. The leather is supple, the edges are smooth and there’s no break-in period — it feels like I’ve owned it and conditioned it for years. No chaffing or rub marks. I was hesitant to purchase this because it was harness leather and I was expecting it to be stiff, rough, and dry (that’s the harness leather I know!). Hats off to Weaver for making such a quality product at such a good price. This is a well made headstall that will lasts for years and years. You won’t be disappointed.

For large horse head!
Beautiful!! Beware, made for large horse head. This will be way to big for my mare. So sad, super soft and lovely!ð

The browband headstall took a month to ship. Presumably because they had to make it. However, it is a nice quality but I would agree with the others when they said that it is made a tad too large. My quarter horses that have large heads are on one of the smallest holes. You have the option to punch holes higher however, the straps are then dangling below the bit as you can’t cut them off due to the stitching. So if you have a horse without a good size melon it may be wise to go with a different headstall.
