Great Little Pump – Quiet, Strong, and Easy to Use!
I bought this fountain pump for my small backyard water feature, and it’s been fantastic so far. The water flow is strong and consistent, and I love that it has an adjustable dial so I can control the height of the stream. Best of all, it runs super quietly — I barely hear anything except the relaxing sound of water.Setup was simple, and it came with multiple nozzle attachments for different spray patterns. It feels solid and well-built, and it’s been running 24/7 without any issues. Energy-efficient too — no spike in the electric bill.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, low-maintenance pump at a good price. I’d definitely buy again!

Good Fountain Pump
Not a bad little pump, seems to fluctuate flow now and then so a little hard to establish a repeatable spray pattern. Overall it works well.

Don’t waste your time or money
Piece of crap, the fountain fittings don’t stay on they just “sit” on top of the extension piece. No way to click it or screw it on to secure it. I am returning.

Frog spitter
So far, so good. We have the pump connected to a frog spitter in our koi pond. It runs continually and we have had no problem with this pump what so ever. Was also a good price, which is always nice.

I have been on the lookout for an innovative and comprehensive Fountain Pump ( see photo ), am very pleased to have noticed this model HSP1600N 24W device and could not be happier with the thoughtful design, noteworthy build, promise of long-term reliability, value at price point; and overall performance. Recommended.From my observations, I can confirm that the plastic constructed Pump Kit features; a 6.3” (16cm) diameter x 4.9” (12cm) very-quiet 396 gph (1500 lph) turtle-shell-design submersible pump with 7.5’ (2.3m) maximum head; intelligent run-dry burn prevention; ineffective anti-clogging filter, so consider using a mesh-filter-bag to prevent clogging; includes 4 different adjustable water spraying nozzles [ bubbler, quarter cone, tulip and mushroom]; mains-powered with a 20 foot (6m) cable; 3/4” inlet/outlet; 1/2”, 3/4” or 1” hose adapters; two fountain nozzle pipes.As an additional observation, it is very comforting to note that the Pump is marked with ‘c-UL’ (signified by the “C” at the eight o’clock position outside the UL mark), indicating the equipment is recognized as approved to Canadian standards ( see photo ). The plug is marked c-ETL (signified by the “C” at the eight o’clock position outside the ETL logo), a recognized certification mark indicating the device is approved to Canadian standards ( see photo ) by Intertek Testing Services.

Works great so far, but we’re at the end of the season so I will be storing it for the winter and creating a new Oasis next year. I do not have a pond or fountain structure currently, so I will be creating something of this sort along our picket fence in an area where I’ve developed a grass garden. Whether this is just submerged in a container or I dig and line a pond, the size and power should be perfect for my ideas and yard’s purposes. I also ordered a 2000GPM water pump from the same company. I plan to link the two together, using the large basin/pond as the main water holder, the fountain for entertainment and the pump to irrigate my garden with attached pvc pipe with drilled holes. The fountain will likely work better in its own closed system, recycling its own water, but I am going to see if I can combine the two. This way I can use the aerated water from the fountain on my plants at night, in order to avoid pond filters and residue buildup. Another reviewer mentioned that theirs gets clogged with debris, so I’m going to take this seed of information and put the base in a screen bag to prevent debris from getting inside.

Obtained this to use in our pond next spring as the one we have has been having issues and will be retired when we fully wrap the pond next week. This new pump will debut in the spring but for now I gave it a test in the tub and the power is awesome!! Super strong flow and likely more than we will need, so I will have to dial it down.Before the spring however this will be the pump I use to clear the sediment from the hot water tank this fall. I do this annually using a vinegar or mild citric acid solution in water that I run through the tank on a circulating loop. Typically I use a smaller utility pump but I think this will work better. Basically this pump will sit in a rubber maid container filled with the concentrated solution and will pump it through the tank to dissolve the lime build up. I’ll, put it on a timer cycling it on and off over 24 hours, but I think this would run continuously if needed. Basically its like descaling your kettle.For my need this will be great, the fitting that adapts the outlet of the pump to fit the fountain heads, will also fit a garden hose thread, which is what I needed. What might be an improvement though, is if there were two of those garden hose thread adapters so you could use a garden hose on both the outlet as well as the inlet. The maker kind of has this covered in that there is two barb fittings to use with tubing both in and out, but for a quick temporary use with something we all have, garden hose fittings on both ends would be ideal. Other than that, so far at least, I have no notes.
