Padded cooling mat works
This is a cooling mat. I put it in my dogs most laid in spot and they seem to like it. The quality is ok. Some of the threads came up in the first week or two, but itâs still holding together. Still need to put through the wash.

Our 90 lb Lab mix loves to sleep on this cooling mat. It’s easy to wipe off dog hair or muddy paw marks with damp paper towel. I wash it 1x week, air dry…and it’s still looks like new.

I have actually purchased 2 of these dog beds because I thought I may have gotten an under-filled one the first time. However, the second one was just like the first so in terms of thickness and perceived comfort for your dogs, it is thin. While it does have padding, itâs not enough to justify using this as an âall the timeâ bed for my dogs. I understand itâs marketed as a kennel pad but itâs also labeled under dog bed so just beware on the fill of it. The overall quality of the bed is great! The material feels structured and the phur is soft and doesnât shed. I did struggle quite a bit when I washed it the first time due to the padding inside getting pushed around and the fur ended up getting slightly matted. It took a bit to maneuver the padding back around and comb out the fur. Itâs definitely a bit picky of an issue but if you can deal with the little annoyances and you/your dogs donât mind a more thin bed, this is a great option for the price! Unfortunately, it just doesnât work for me and my pups.
