Excellent quality pet clipper at a great price! No need to pay a groomer any more!!
This is an update to my original review of 4 stars because at the time I had not actually used the clipper yet. I’ve never used a professional clipper before and honestly I was a bit intimidated, my biggest fear was that I might accidentally hurt my dog (Jack Russell Terrier with rough coat). The weather has finally turned hot (and humid) and it was time to cut his hair short for the summer. He HATES going to the groomer, even though it is only once a year for his summer comfort cut, so I decided to do it myself. WOW, lthe Wahl Professional Animal Pro Ion clipper is wonderful! It performs beautifully, is easy to use (even for a first-time novice) and did a great job on my dogs wiry, rough coat. The different sized clipped comb attachments make it easy to cut the exact length you want. After reading up on good quality clippers, I was worried about the clipper blade getting hot, but it never did. What a relief! I wanted it to be a good experience for my dog, and it turned out to be good for both of us! I watched the DVD provided first which was helpful. I used good grooming scissors to tidy up tricky areas. All went splendidly well and I love the Wahl clipper! Can’t wait to use it again.

Perfect for Pet home use and on Husbands, too!
I just got these clippers yesterday, after doing a bunch of research on different sites that recommend dog clippers. The price is right, and it comes with all the extra attachments you may ever want, in the case.I charged them up overnight, and they lasted plenty long enough for me to do an all over cut, and didn’t slow down for at least 3 hours of intermittent use. (I worked on her outside on and off for a few hours, without recharging in between.)They worked very well on my 20 lb. Pomeranian. Even though the packaging doesn’t recommend an all over cut of dense fur…I did an all over cut on her thick fur to make her more comfortable in the hot Indiana summer.She looks very cute (although I will get better over time.) They weren’t really noisy, but still had a bit of a hum and vibration. They are better than the ones for people. In fact, afterward, I gave my husband a hair cut with them, and even though he didn’t like the idea that they were dog clippers, he let me use them….they work really, really well on people!!

Did a good job, but on & off button a pain
Seems like a good little clipper. I just groomed my dog yesterday, and it gave a nice little short clip. I don’t like the on and off button because I have arthritis and it is difficult to turn on and off. Sometimes I have to try several times. I like switches better. The battery lasted a long time and I was able to finish the clip job on one charge. I had done her a few weeks ago when her hair was long, and it did a much better job from shorter hair. I can’t comment on the adjustable blade since I don’t know how to use yet. I had purchased a professional clipper that was much more expensive, but decided on getting a clipper without the cord, which is much easier to use.

Light-weight, stays cool -A Dream!
This cordless clipper makes it SOOO much easier to trim my cockapoo! I usually clip him in between having him professionally groomed. I’ve only liked his professional grooming once, and I’ve tried 3 different groomers. It used to take 2-1/2 – 3 hours when I did the trimming with a corded clipper. (I’m not a professional.) The cord always seemed to get in the way, and I would have to blow out the hairs from the blade every few minutes. This cordless is much lighter, doesn’t clog up as easily and is simple to maneuver. Now it takes me only 1-1/2 hours and the battery still has power after that. It doesn’t heat up like my corded one does, either. I already got more than my money’s worth in only 2 trimmings by not paying a groomer at $45-60 a cut!

Awesome best clippers for price quiet and no matter if …
Awesome best clippers for price quiet and no matter if long Palm dog hair is matted cuts right through it easily. I also have a big husky and the clippers cut through her hair pretty smoothly. I read a post saying if you have carpal tunnel dont use these. WELL if you can name anything in the world perfect please leave what it is. It’s not that loud my little dogs and my husky don’t like like loud sounds and none of them moved at all when they were being shaved other than wanting to run around. I used the clippers on my husky and the clippers never bogged down a bit. Yes you may not get a cut like a dog groomer but if your looking to buy clippers these are great for the price. I will make sure I go trim one of my dogs using this kit this weekend and I will write back to leave another review. As far as just trimming I never had an issue. And if it doesnt work like a dog groomer well then do one of two things keep throwing money away on a dog groomer( not the brightest) or spend more time figuring out exactly how to work the clippers. But again ill leave another review on if im right or wrong after this weekend.

Did not cut
This product, contrary to other views, did not cut the hair as was led to believe. I have a Maltese. It took 3 hours to cut her hair. I finally had to bring out my professional clipper set for cutting human hair to finish the job. From all the reviews pre-purchase, it was said not to use clippers for human hair on a dog, well, that is what I ended up doing. The noise level was less than the clipper set for dog hair. The clipper cut quicker and cleaner. It felt as though the clipper was going to fall apart as I turned it on and off.I would consider this product appropriate to cut any dog’s hair or fur.

Very good clippers.
I was very overwhelmed with options and finally choose this one based other reviews. I did not want to have to deal with wires and wanted battery operated. I read other reviews and saw that this one holds a charge very well. It does! I love all of the attachments. I am new to grooming and had spent tons of money grooming our last poodle. I gradually worked more and more a little at a time with the puppy and she has gotten so good about the process and I am learning as well. The clips pop on and off really easy for changing. I have used it to groom the entire standard poodle and it did not slow down at all. I’ve groomed her three times now and that has paid for the clippers. I am very happy!

Es un buen producto, pero tiene uno que estar retirando el peine de la navaja para estar limpiándolos constantemente por que deja de cortar o se detiene, por lo que se tarda uno en cortar el pelo. Mis perros son French y se les hacen bolitas que aunque se peine primero hay unas que se deben cortar.
