Cuts very well for cat hair.
They cut very well. No issues shaving the cat. The only problem was how hot the clippers became after ruining it for awhile. I noticed that the body became hot and the blade was slightly warm. I would shave the cat and turn it off to clean it and let it cool down before starting it up again.That being said, it was very easy to use and the directions were helpful. The clippers are not that loud so they didnât freak out the cat, but I donât think he would have freaked out anyway. I did not use any of the attachments as I wanted to give him a lion cut. They cut very well and very close. No batteries, plug in.

Not for golden doodles
I wanted these to work. I have a golden doodle and these clippers just did not cut his fur very well at all. Granted, I am not a professional groomer, but no matter what I did, I could not get these to do what I needed. I watched videos to ensure I was using them properly and had the right techniques, but nope. They may work for other dog breeds, but if you have a doodle, donât waste your money.

Love this clipper I have poodles and they definitely require a good quality trimmer,this one’s great comes with guards, is easy to operate, it seems like a good quality one.I love how it has an on and off switch as well, instead of just a button or something I like having an actual switch.Comes in a case and with an apron, oil and a cleaner brush along with some guards. I wish the case was a little bit higher quality but for $56 I can deal with it, great price for a really nice clipper.Not run into any issues, it’s performed beautifully and really doesn’t require too much maintenance if you just keep it clean after use.I will say I wish that the blades were easy clip and removable blades, you can take the blade off obviously but it is the older style where you have to remove two screws to take the blade off which is kind of annoying, I like the removable blade clippers because when you’re shaving a large dog they get hot and I like to trade them out to let one cool off but I’m okay with getting the cooling spray out for this one.Overall highly recommended feels super durable nice to hold excellent long cord and good size for a woman’s hand to operate, highly recommended!Cheers

An impressive and well built clipper
Love the heavier weight and feel. It’s a Wahl so you know it is a good product. Despite the heavier weight it is easy to handle, quiet and cuts hair very easily. I tried it on my own facial hair for starters and loved how smooth it cuts hair. The kit comes with 7 different height attachments. Combine that with the adjustable blade lever on the side of the clippers and you can cut to almost any desired length. The storage/handling case makes it very convenient to keep everything together and travel if needed. The other accessories are nice as well (oil, cleaning brush, comb and apron). Overall, while you might find a less expensive clipper you won’t find a better built clipper.
