    The birds like it
The birds certainly love this blend. In Southern California, it attracts, finches, robins, sparrows, jays, doves, pigeons, and others I don’t know the names of. The feeder we have is of larger capacity, and still it would have to be filled twice a day to keep up with demand. Often there are more birds than the feeder can accommodate at once, so they are waiting in the trees, on the bird bath, structures, etc. If you appreciate birdsong, and enjoy observing avian behaviors, they will come for this.

Wonderful dog food I’ve used Victor Brand for several years now
I love this product for my 15 year old dog. She loves it. It is small so she can easily chew it and it produces firm poops. I mix it with wet food for a complete experience for her.

    Birds love this stuff!
Decided to give this Wagner’s Deluxe Blend a try when I ordered my monster kitty’s food & supplies. Biggest reason, this states it has 20% more Black Sunflower seed, & it does indeed. This mix has a lot of Black Sunflower seed, as well as a very good blend of everything else. The birds absolutely love it. Every time I fill the platform feeder, the birds empty it within 3 days or so. I mean completely empty down to the last seed. I have all the Chickadees, Nuthatches, Phoebes, Juncos, Cardinals, Jays, Grosbeaks, Finches, Creepers, etc., all the birds are happy as can be with this mix. All this activity though, has now also attracted a few Red Tail Hawks, & Northern Harriers I see flying overhead during the day, & calling out, that I never noticed before. So it has become quite the popular spot now, but the squirrels are on high alert at times lol. I began getting into wildlife photography this past summer, taking LOTS of bird, & wildlife pics, so this fall, about 2 months ago, I decided to setup a Gardman Feeding Station Deluxe, with a platform feeder, a bamboo long tail suet feeder(the Pileated Woodpeckers, as well as the other Woodpeckers, love this long tail suet feeder, as it allows them to use their tail as a prop when feeding on suet, like they normally do in the wild), as well as a regular suet feeder(one with Peanut Butter & one with Wild Berry blend suet cakes), & a mesh tray for holding larger fruit, & nut mix, to feed the birds here all winter long. I’ve always been a big wildlife nut, & this is just my way to give back, & take care of the birds, that give me so much joy to photograph, & watch each day. Thus far, the birds absolutely love the seed mix from Wagner I have been using. The river is about 100 feet out my door in back, so the feeding station is close by the river/woods, within 30 feet, so we get a LOT of birds. Unfortunately, the squirrels are also quite abundant lol (as well as a few deer even though I am in the city, we have a Doe with a pair of fawns who frequent our yard here in town). The first couple times filling with the Wagner blend, the squirrels had a hay day, issue easily solved though. I began using the mesh wire feeder to put out “Critter Crunch” specifically for the squirrels, basically a mix of corn, peanuts, sunflower seeds, dried fruits, & since, the squirrels no longer bother the birds platform, even though it is only about 2 – 3 feet above their mesh feeder. So if you are having issues with squirrels wiping out your birds seed mix, try offering the squirrels their own option for food. It worked great for me with all the Grey’s & Red squirrels we have, it may work for you also.As for this Wagner Deluxe Blend though, I absolutely recommend it. I tend to be a fairly savvy, picky shopper, & it worked great with this product. Every time I go out back to check the feeders now, the area is full of life with the birds eating, & are becoming very accustomed to me bringing them their mix, & don’t seem to mind me being near them either taking pics close by(within 10 feet), or filling their feeders. Another quick tip before I end this. When you are filling your feeders, you can use certain sounds to “call” the birds, or alert them to your presence. Try using either a psssh, psssh, psssh type call, or a seep, seep, seep call. Do this while you are filling your feeders, & the birds will become used to it, & become more comfy with you, knowing you are their to feed them, & are not a threat. I learned this from a diff site early this summer, & have been doing it since, with very good results. Many of the black caps, Nuthatches, & Downy Woodpeckers, have become very, very, comfortable with me being in their area. Just be warned, on occasion, some birds may not like this, especially during breeding season.Happy Holidays! Enjoy your birds while you still can. While they are still around to enjoy. Give back to Mother Nature. Birds love this stuff!

This blend brings ALL the birds to my yard! Highly recommend!!
My birds love this blend! It has a large variety of seeds as well as some nuts and raisins thrown in. My window feeder is very active with lots of different birds – house finches, goldfinches, chickadees, male and female cardinals – we literally get hundreds of visits a day. We had those with the old seed but now we are getting new birds we’ve never had before like blue jays, eastern towner, and nut hatches. It has been so exciting! The bag arrived quickly, it was huge (a great value for the money), packaged well, and seems fresh. No bugs or mold here. Just a ton of great seed to keep my feathered friends happy. As it gets colder here, I definitely need to fill the feeder almost daily. I only wish the bag was resealable like the smaller ones I’ve purchased. But I still highly recommend it.Note: Like many people, I rely heavily on Amazon reviews before making almost any purchase, online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I am always honest with my reviews. If I love something, I shout it from the rooftops. And if I hate it, I have no problem telling you that too. If you found this review helpful, please click the button below 🙂

Sad to say that the seed was moldy and clumping up due to moisture in the bag. Had a very obvious mold smell when I opened the package (outside thank goodness). Wish I could return it as I won’t be feeding it to the birds. They deserve better.

When I opened the bag I discovered that the seed was moldy with a very foul smell. At first I thought maybe it was just meant to be like that but then I dumped it all into a large container and realized that it was all clumped together, wet and rotten all the way through. I tossed the entire bag in the trash knowing it would make birds sick if they ate it. I read other reviews after and saw that some other customers had the same experience.

More than half of the bag was soaked, it had this smell of ammonia like urine. It was shocking that this was shipped and felt stolen of $70. The box in which it came, was completely dry and undamaged which shows that the bag was already soaked when put it.

Smells musty and has unknown clumps in it. Mold clumps? Blackbirds and starlings don’t seem to be interested and songbirds are pecking at the other near empty feeder. Smells like dirt. Can’t return, $42 down the drain.
