Nice Big, Well-Sealed, Bag; the Birds Seem to Like It
There’s not much to say about a product that is what it says it is, and does what it says it does … the birds all seem to like it … we have five or six or eight (I’ve forgotten) seed socks hanging around and it takes about 2-3 days for the little birds to empty the bags. Some of the seeds fall on the ground when the little birds are pulling out their snacks from the seed socks, but then the Mourning Doves and Quail come along and eat what fell on the ground.Interestingly enough, some people worry about the seeds sprouting. Well, we’ve never had one sprout in the five years we’ve been using this brand of seed.One possible nit-pick, however, the bag has a closure, like a zip-lock-bag. And, that is nice, but it’s really hard to close. So, it would be nice of the manufacturer would start using that new-ish style Velcroix style closure.P. S. I only gave it a ‘4’ on price, because, while it’s a relatively good price, it is still a lot, and a LOT more than a year ago (i.e. not just ‘8%’)

Wonderful, clean seed.
This is fantastic nyjer seed.I had tried feeding nyjer seed for several years as I had a lot of gold finches. They didn’t seem to care for it. This seed however gets eaten- they love it. Always clean and fresh looking.

Golden finches in hog heaven
The Golden finches are in hog heaven. They love the seeds. They do eat through it so fast I recommend the 20lb bag size even better value.
