Birdseed is great but not delivery
It is a 20 pound HEAVY bag of birdeed that the driver left OUTSIDE the gate and not on the porch. He said he left it in the mailbox. You can’t fix a 20lb anything in it.

    Birds love this stuff!
The birds in our neighborhood flock to our bird seeder for this stuff. It brings such joy sitting out on the patio with the water feature gong and the birds are chirping away.

    Decent quality
Hooray! The very first day we put out this bird seed we had lots if birdie visitors. There is plenty of sunflower seeds in the mix- not just a bunch of junk. We live in a sub arctic region and I put this out right at the start of fall, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but on day 1 we has chickadees, red breasted nut hatches and some other big brown bird I don’t recognize show up… very cool! And of course pesky Magpies. After having this for a while now, I don’t know if I’ll buy it again, because frankly all the birds want are the sunflowers, they completely ignore all the other seeds and I have to literally dump everything out, so I’m adjusting my rating accordingly. I’m not sure if that’s typical for everywhere, or if that’s just because I live in Alaska and the types of birds we have.

    A bird favorite
I have Doves, Rock pigeons,Quail, Wrens, and a few assorted drop ins. They really like this blend. I put some in a feeder and some on the ground. Their fenced off area of the yard is all rock. So I just spread it around.

My birds have been planting sunflowers
I live in the High Desert at 3700 feet altitude. I’ve suction cupped a plastic see-through bird feeder on a picture window. It feeds up to 4 small birds at a time and they’re constantly fighting over it. Two mourning doves can fit in, and they seem to favor the black oil sunflower seeds. The feeder holds two cups of seeds which will last two or three days. A few weeks ago in October, I noticed a beautiful 3 foot high Sunflower growing which I didn’t plant. Just now I watered it, but any day now, we’ll get our first frost. Then I found in my backyard several bunches of sunflowers with up to a dozen sunflowers from a very tiny spot. I suspect it’s the mourning doves who are planting them, but why would a bird eat a dozen black oil seeds and then poop them out instead of digesting them? Doves and finches are the most common birds, but I don’t think a finch can carry a dozen sunflower seeds. And just now I noticed a single sunflower in the backyard ready to blossom. I’ll plant it in my sunroom which is in the 60’s at night.
