However, opinions are mixed regarding the sunflower seed content and fillers, with several customers noting there are very few sunflower seeds and too much corn and millet fill.

Our Go-To Bird Food for 5 Years â Attracts So Many Birds!
Weâve been using Wagner’s 62006 Midwest Regional Blend Wild Bird Food for the past 5 years, and itâs hands-down the best bird food weâve ever tried! This blend is specifically tailored for the Midwest, and it attracts such a wide variety of birds to our backyard. Weâve seen chickadees, finches, woodpeckers, and just this spring, we had 5 cardinals become regulars at our feederâwhat a beautiful sight! The mix includes high-quality seeds like sunflower seeds, millet, and cracked corn, which the birds absolutely love. Itâs always fresh when it arrives, with no fillers or dust, and the birds clean out the feeder every time. We also appreciate that itâs a good value for the sizeâyou get a lot of bird food for the price. After 5 years, weâre still amazed at how consistently this blend brings vibrant wildlife to our yard. If youâre looking to attract a diverse group of birds, especially in the Midwest, this is the way to go. Highly recommend!

This is my go-to birdseed!
Our backyard is full of beautiful trees that attract many varieties of feathered friends. I have purchased several brands and seeds over the years. I always come back to this brand. The birds enjoy it and it attracts many varities of birds to watch. It is no waste, and my Midwest birds love it! This feed comes in a good quality bag with stitched reinforcement.

Perfect Blend for Smaller Birds!
When you reach a certain age (Iâm old) you start to appreciate things that you didnât necessarily appreciate when you are younger. I developed a love of bird watching. I have tried several different types of birdseed and I truly love the mixture in this Wagners blend. It attracts smaller birds and they are so much fun to watch. This blend doesnât have large sunflower seeds or peanuts so there isnât much waste. I go through a twenty pound bag in about two to three weeks and will continue to use it! Highly recommended.

Best I’ve found for the price
It’s been the best for the price. The little yellow filler seed are a waste. The birds throw it out all around in the ground.

Not long lasting
Well, our bird feeders emptied rather quickly after putting this in so I would say the birds like it seem to be pretty fresh and brought in some of the brightest birds we’ve seen if you’re looking for a feed that is long-lasting and slow for the birds to eat, this is not one of themThe center part of the bird feeder is where we place the food. After about a week the birds realized it was there and we can’t keep it filled. But like I said we have seen a lot of bright birds it does contain a lot of sunflower seeds in various sizes a feed for the birds

Good blend
The birds in my area love it so I can’t complain except they eat it too fast

Bird-Approved!
The birds go absolutely nuts for this seed mix! I was hoping to attract blue jays since Iâve seen a few in the area, but my primary visitors have been grackles, red-winged blackbirds, sparrows, and a couple of doves. The grackles and blackbirds didnât get along at first, but abundance seems to breed tolerance.I have to refill my feeder twice a day, and thereâs nothing left but empty sunflower seed husks. So consider that forty-some glowing reviewsâstraight from the birds themselves!
