Does Not Get Lost Under Furniture and Has Not Been Ripped to Shreds
I have two “teenage mutant ninja” cats. They are young, energetic, and very curious. They weigh 12 pounds each. If I do not provide interesting things for them to do, they will FIND things to occupy their time such as climbing the curtains, knocking things off of high shelves, attacking my feet. We have the free range ball that zips around the house. If I don’t track where it goes, it will be lost for days at a time. The VIWIKI Interactive Interactive Cat Toys for Indoor Cats, Hide and Seek, does not have that problem. The ball is contained within a bag. I can always find it when the game is over. My boys still have their claws. We have had it for a couple of weeks and they haven’t ripped the bag to shreds. They pounce on it, sit on it, and slide it across the floor. It doesn’t even have puncture holes. While they cannot see the actual ball in the bag, they see when it lights up with a flashing light. There is an element of “where is the ball” when they play. They will play specifically targeting the moving, flashing light or they will play targeting the bag. It isn’t very noisy. There is a soft swoosh as the ball rolls in the bag, but no clunking into furniture or loud noise as it moves across the floor like the free range ball. I often find the bag far from where I originally placed it because they slide on it or carry it around. Because it is in a big bag, I can always find it. The charges lasts for a good, long, play time, but not all day. I appreciate that it flashes red when charging meaning that it is low on battery, but then turns green when it is ready to go. There is one minor issue. There is a furry, elastic cover for the bumpers on the ball. That elastic cover comes off. Because it is in the bag, it is easy to find and easy to put back on. I like the the VIWIKI Interactive Interactive Cat Toys for Indoor Cats, Hide and Seek, so much that I am considering purchasing it for my sweetie grandcat.

The cats LOVE this!
Our cats go absolutely nuts over this thing! It was bigger than I expected and I love that it’s rechargeable. Highly recommended!

This mat has holes through which the cats can take their entertainment to another level.
This mat is unique compared to others of it’s kind because it has holes in the mat for the cat to further interact with the moving ball. The cat can see the ball move under the holes. My cat likes to put her paws and arms inside the mat to try to catch the moving ball.I bought the oblong mat. It is larger than many of the other mats. I give the mat a 5*.The ball is another story. I have 3 other balls, 2 of them from other mats. The ball that came with this mat does not work very long. I estimate 1/5 of the run time of the others. This was disappointing.

Highly recommended
I bought this interactive cat toy for my two indoor cats, and itâs been a huge hit! The rolling ball moves around like real prey, and the way it hides and pops out of the bag keeps them completely engaged. I love that it has three speed modes, so I can adjust it depending on their mood my older cat prefers the slow mode, while the younger one goes wild on fast! The bag is sturdy and spacious, which is great because they can get pretty rough with it, and it doesnât tear or flip over easily. No more toys disappearing under the couch either! What I also appreciate is that itâs USB rechargeable and has a smart standby mode so it only activates when they touch it, saving battery and keeping them interested.

Not worth the money
I purchased and returned the item because the ball doesn’t stay charged for more than 5 minutes. Was hopeful the new one would be better but unfortunately it was the same. My cat loves to play with it but it doesn’t keep her attention once the batteries die. Not really worth the money

Great Stimulation Hide and Seek Cat Toy
Our cat, Angel Boy, absolutely loves this cat toy! He loves attacking and catching the LED light up ball inside the bag. He also loves that the bag makes a crinkle sound when he pounces on it, as you can see in the video. The ball has 3 different speed and light settings; the bag is lightweight and colorful too. Because the toy is so lightweight we can easily move it anywhere you want your cat to play. We like to put the cat toy on our bed at night when watching tv or on the computer to encourage him to play and sleep on the bed more. This toy is also good for when you are busy cooking or cleaning around the house, it keeps our cat occupied and offers a fun and stimulating environment for him, especially at nighttime. We also like that the ball stays confined in the bag keeping it from rolling all over the house and getting stuck under furniture. Our cat, Angel Boy recommends this cat toy for your cats and so do we.

A fun and interactive motion activated toy for cats. This was my first time having a toy like this for my cats, but it looked like a way to bring some added fun to indoor life, and I was not wrong. It comes with the mat that was a bit wrinkled as it was folded into a small box with the charging cord, and toy itself. Also included was instructions detailing the play choices for intensity of motion. From fairly active to more docile of a motion for the more timid. The more intense and consistent the movement, the quicker the battery will drain, but they have a good amount of play time prior to that happening. Charging the toy does take sometime so I suggest having it fully charged prior to setting up if your cats love this type of play, as mine look forward to it now and are eager for it to be set up. It does recommend using it a few times a day for your cat to gain interest, and the directions recommend the slower setting for the cat to get accustomed to the toy if need be. I did not have to go that route, as my one came out and sat right on the mat ready to play while the toy was trying to move about. The other was more timid the first time, but by the end of the second day that cat was having so much fun with it as well. It does slide around on the floor if your cats run and pounce on it as mine do now. It can get a bit loud upon a wood or tile floor I find as the ball makes its noises doing what it does rolling and fluttering about. It does keep the cats entertained for a good duration of time.I think this is a great interactive cat toy. You do have to clean that ball on occasion as the cat hair does stick to it in a static type way, but not a lot as its within the mat. The cover for the on/off and intensity, along with the charging port on the ball are camouflaged, but outlined for you to find. The cover for the charging port is securely in place and I find a bit tricky to slide open, but I consider that a good thing in a toy with cats. This is an overall awesome cat toy, which provides that enrichment indoor cats can benefit from.

Overall:This motion-activated cat toy by Viwik has a lot going for it, especially if your cat is on the playful side. Itâs built to mimic prey with unpredictable rolling and vibrations, and itâs rechargeable, which saves you from constantly hunting for batteries (because letâs be honest, those things vanish faster than your cat when it hears the vacuum). Our younger cat loved it. The older one⦠not so much. Like a true feline critic, he gave it a sniff, a swat, and walked off.Packaging and Setup:The Viwik toy arrives in a compact, gift-worthy box that somehow manages to fit everything in: mat, charging cable, screwdriver, extra screws, toy, and instructions. It almost felt like a magic trick unpacking it all. The toy comes mostly assembled, and charging is simple; however, youâll want to fully charge it before use. A heads-up: the instructions are tiny, so if you wear reading glasses, keep them close.Performance and Experience:The mat itself is large, which gives plenty of room for play. But hereâs where things got interesting. The toy inside the mat doesn’t roll very easily, especially on carpet, even at the highest speed and with the soft bumper removed. On hard floors, the movement improves a bit but still isnât as smooth or zippy as I expected. That said, both cats were intrigued initially. The kitten stayed engaged and kept pouncing on the mat, while the older tabby bailed after about 15 minutes, clearly unimpressed.Taking the toy out of the mat made a difference. On bare floors, it moved better, and both cats gave chase for a while. The younger one was the biggest fan. The downside? Battery life is short, about 30 minutes per charge, so if your cat finally gets into it, it may cut off the fun sooner than expected.Tips for Best Use:If you have carpet, try using it on a bare floor for better movement. Also, consider letting your cat play with the toy outside the mat if they lose interest; ours preferred the chase when it was rolling freely.Options:There are different speed modes: slow (green), fast (blue), and interactive (purple), which you can switch with a single press. The LED light tells you which mode itâs in. Itâs a nice touch for cats with different energy levels. The power button switches between modes and is really hard to see as it blends into the toyâs colour.Issues:While itâs advertised as having âunpredictable movementsâ to keep cats engaged for hours, I found that the movement isnât quite lively enough to hold their attention long-term, especially on carpet. And the short battery life is a bit of a letdown.Pros:Engaging for playful kittensRechargeable (no batteries needed)3 speed settings for different energy levelsCan be used with or without the matDurable and nicely packagedCons:Struggles to roll properly on the carpetShort battery lifeInstructions are hard to readOlder or less playful cats may lose interest quicklyThe Power/Mode button is hard to see and locateMy Testing & Rating Approach:I spend at least one week testing each product to ensure I can give a genuine, real-life assessment. Whether itâs clothing, tech, or hardware, I take the time to use the item as intended, so my review reflects a real experience. Depending on the product, I may extend the testing period to cover all its features and get a complete sense of its performance.Disclosure:I receive the products I review for free. However, I do not allow the fact that a product is provided to influence my opinion. If the product is great, Iâll say so; if not, Iâll be upfront about that too.My Ratings:5 stars: Surprising in all the right ways.4 stars: A good product that performs well.3 stars: It works, but could use some improvements to reach its full potential.2 stars: This product has some issues that need to be addressed.1 star: This product didnât meet my needs.

EVERY CAT OWNER NEEDS THIS TOY!We have 2 cats, 17 and 15. They are both still active despite their advanced years but they tend to lose interest in toys pretty quickly. This mat/bag/ball combination is like the perfect combination to keep them interested. They will play with it for as long as it is running pretty much. My male cat will even go to where I keep the toy and meow for it when he wants to play now which he has never done before. It has 2 speed settings, though they seem to prefer the “slower” one (which is still pretty active). The only thing that would improve this is the battery life. I find it runs out pretty quickly and it takes a while to recharge. Maybe if they included 2 balls instead of one it would be good to have a backup ball for when one is charging. I’ve already had 2 friends ask where I got it since they saw my cats playing with it and enjoying it so much. I think every cat owner would benefit from giving it a try.
Mainstream Sellout –
This whack-a-whole designed hide-and-seek interactive cat toy with a rechargeable moving ball and a durable translucent plastic cover with holes on the top for increased visibility is a great toy to bust boredom in cats and stimulate their hunting instincts.I have tried getting our cats different variations of the moving ball by itself, but they were always too daunting and unpredictable for our cats – they were more scared of them than interested lol, but this toy includes an envelope-style plastic cover to contain the ball, which is a hit with our cats! The cover is translucent and makes crinkly sounds as the ball moves around inside, making the ball somewhat visible and mouse-looking to the cats. The holes on the top of the cover have reinforced seams to prevent ripping or damage, and are a clever addition to the cover, providing the cats with better visibility of the ball and allowing them to grab inside the cover. The battery life of the ball lasts quite a long time. So far, I have only needed to recharge it around once a week when turning the toy on a couple of times a day.

I ordered this cat toy as my older cat loves these types of toys where the toy is hidden. At first everything worked perfectly. After opening the box I plugged the orange ball in to be fully charged so that my boy wouldn’t be upset if it stopped working too soon as these toys are only normally charged halfway. The first couple of days I realized that I was charging this toy a lot more frequently than his other ones like this. At first I just thought it’s because they’re playing with it so much. But nope, after just an hour or so of play it would stop working and I’d need to recharge it again. Now, I’m lucky if it holds its charge for 15 minutes or so before dying. When the orange ball did work I found that it was so much more noisy, even with the strip of fake fur around it. Unlike his other toy like this one, that was made from a rubber material, this one is made from a hard plastic with the ring around it more plastic. So far, the only enduring part of this toy is the round plastic bag you place it in. That is actually quite cute with its see through peekaboo windows and cat face pattern. To be honest you’d be better off looking elsewhere for a better quality toy that can at least stay charged for longer than 15 minutes. As of now I can’t even get this ball to stay charged before it turns itself off. My boy is left very disappointed.
