Durable accurate heat mat
This is a durable reptile heat mat. This is the largest i could find with a gauge on it, i love the adhesive is VERY STICKY you get one shot at sticking it!! It’s Also very accurate. This gets very hot so make sure you don’t toast your pets luckily my beardy like it 90- 100 degrees. This is worth the money.

Excellent reptile heater. Easy to use and consistent heating.
I got this for my 50 inch ball python’s terrarium. It already has 2 stick on heating pads and I wanted to add a third with thermostat to use primarily at night. This Vivosun is so easy to use and very consistent in terms of heat.You plug it in, put the probe into the terrarium subtrate, put the heating pad under the bottom glass and then set the temperature. I found if you set a temperature at 85 degrees, it will consistently heat around 79-81 degrees. Very good.

Great product that keeps my fermenter at the desired temp
I’ve only been using this for about 24 hrs out of the box. But, so far, I’m pleased with the products’ construction and function. The red LED control display is bright and sharp. I followed the instructions supplied with the controller and I had my temperature set point set up in just seconds. My seed starting table is in a basement area that’s around 60 degrees ambient. With an 85 deg. set point, the mat has brought my soil temperature up to around 80F, which is close to where I wanted it to be. It’s probably capable of getting the soil much hotter, but I have had no need to go higher. I don’t believe the product description mentions it, but the controller display is also a thermometer, that shows actual soil temp. Not sure how accurate it is, but most seed starting temps aren’t all that precision. If exact soil temp is a concern, you might want to invest in a precision dedicated soil thermometer to verify. Also the description says the mat accommodate one seed flat? My 20″x20″ will actually accommodate two standard flats, which is why I bought this one instead of one of the small 20″x10″ mats that are offered on Amazon.

Bought another after 3 years
I have this in two sizes and just bought a second set. Overall, I give 5 stars for the valueFirst set (purchased in 2022) worked reliably for a little over 3 years, then the heating circuit died (starts switching too fast/not coming on right). Both units died within a couple months of each other. For the price, 3 years of continuous use is pretty good! I ordered the same product again and hooked the new circuit up to the old heating pad that is stuck to the bottom of the reptile tank. It seems to be working fine that way, so an easy swap. Overall, I give 5 stars for the value

Perfect for heating – gets VERY hot – I did not use adhesion
I didn’t use the adhesion feature because I was not actually using it for reptiles, but for a homemade incubator for my baby sugar glider joeys that had been rejected by their mom. I was concerned if it could get warm enough to go through the thick fabric AND fleece on bottom of their little mini world. Well, it gets VERY hot (so hot that if it touched their skin I am sure it would leave a burn) but having it underneath their enclosure and with fleece on top it has been absolutely perfect. It’s been running almost 100% continually for 2 months now and so far still going perfect. I will definitely buy from this company/brand again when and if I need another larger one in the future.

Just… does not work
This straight up does not work, at least for what I need it for. I purchased this item for my 20-gallon terrarium that houses my two white’s tree frogs. The heat mat stuck to the side of the terrarium, so the adhesion was okay. I had the set temperature at 85 degrees and the highest it said it was getting was 82.something. The heat mat was warm to to the touch but it was not heating up the wall it was on or the terrarium in the slightest. It didn’t do anything at all. I tried to see what I maybe could have been doing wrong but no, this just doesn’t work. Wasted money.

My old temp on the mat for my ball python was scaring me bc it read 107 but felt like maybe 60 on the inside, this one though temp is 100 accurate and super easy to install. Love that’s the power outlet goes into the gauge and it only takes one outlet. Instead of two lole my old one. Highly recommended.

Used for my cuttings, sped up my rooting. Paired it with the vivosun thermostat and worked like a charm. I DO NOT recommend this product for anyone who needs it for an aquarium or reptile enclosure. The 3m adhesive is very lacklustre to say the least. When I peeled off the 3M paper much of the adhesive came with it. This worked out better for the purpose I needed it for but for pets take caution

I bought this mat for my pet bearded dragon. It maintains the right temperature for him well at night when the UV lamp is turned off.

This mat works exactly as described. It heats up quick and the price was cheaper than some other ones that I looked at. Sticks well, and works best with a temperature controller. It is a little small but there its sized accordingly. There is also a bigger one that you can order I think. But if this fits your space though, pick it up because itâs a good mat.
