Good heat lamp, good prices
Have used with two broods of chicks, left on continuously for days at a time. It gets EXTREMELY hot, so make sure to raise it when your chicks start jumping and flying. Also make sure it’s very securely attached to something sturdy – it is definitely a fire hazard if it touches curtains/bedding/anything flammable. This is just the nature of heat lamps and not a knock on this product. I have several vivosun products and they’ve all done well for me.

Excellent work lights
The clamps are strong and a bit difficult to open, but I have no complaints about the quality or price. One of mine is attached to the top of my floor loom and gives excellent light for close-up work, such as threading or sleying. The other awaits an assignment.

Work well but clamp requires a certain width item to stay put
I like that they have never gotten overly hot. Also, I bought 2 of these 1 year and later bought another 2 this year. I have alot of tropical plants that need to be brought in during the winter and I use these to help me keep them healthy. I like the price point and that they don’t overheat even when ran anywhere from 6 to 12 hours everyday for months. The biggest thing i do not like and the reason this is not a 5 star review is the clamp part. Yes, i understand this is a standerd type clamp but if you don’t clamp it on to something like a table, shelf, and so forth it will slide down or fall downward so that it is not pointing where you want to aim it…meaning would be top heavy.

These VIVOSUN 2-Pack Clamp Lamp Lights are the best thing that ever happened to my hummingbirds. They are so easy to clip on anywhere and they provide enough heat to keep my little friends warm and cozy in the freezing weather. They have a detachable aluminum reflector that can adjust the light direction and intensity. They can handle up to 60W bulbs and they have a 6-foot long cord that gives me plenty of flexibility. They are also very durable and safe, and they don’t overheat or cause any fire hazards. My hummingbirds love them and they are always buzzing around them. They are so grateful that I bought these lamps for them. How cute is that? These lamps are not only functional, but also fashionable. They make me feel like a fairy godmother to my hummingbirds. I would highly recommend these lamps to anyone who loves hummingbirds and wants to keep them happy and healthy. I told my husband I should bedazzle them for some extra fun!

Great value!
Fantastic value and holds heat very well! Wider design for more heat distribution so I would recommend these for larger tanks! Leopard gecko approved! Had these for months and no issues. No need for the overpriced junk from petsmart. A lamp is a lamp (obviously make sure the bulbs you use fit the lamp and that the lamp is able to hold the wattage of the bulb to avoid fires) but thatâs just common sense.

Works as a lamp, less as a clamp
My only complaint about this is that when clamped, the lamp does not stay in place and it is difficult to position. I canât tighten the hardware enough to keep it from moving when clamped. Iâm making do however, and hope this doesnât dissuade you from purchasing it because the price is pretty good. Just know it will be a bit annoying to lock it in.

Delicate threads on the reflector. I expected a plastic part to screw on and hold the reflector in place.You need to be very careful not to strip the threads. Not good for heavy use, but perfect for delicate decorative lighting.

They arrived SO quickly! I read through the reviews before purchasing and I believe some were saying they turned up dented. This wasnât the case for me, they were packaged very nicely in a super sturdy small box. At first I was worried because the box was so small, that Iâd ordered the wrong thing, but nope! The two aluminum cones were in a bag together with some paper between them, the plugs/cords that attach and screw on to the aluminum were either side of the box and at the bottom of the box I was given a 10% off code to use! 🙂 box is sturdy, delivery was smooth, nothing was damaged, everything in pristine condition. They were well, the clamp grips really well onto ANYTHING, so this makes it really easy to use! And versatile! I am using one for my turtles tank and one for my plants.Everything is really straightforward and Iâm super happy with my new clamp lamps! (And so are my turtles/plants!)Would highly recommend! ð

Haven’t had a chance to use them for an extended amount of time yet.They were packaged well, the light worked, and the reflective shroud seems to help direct the light where it’s needed. The clamps are strong enough to stay in place, but not so strong that you need a body builder to spread them apart.Will update when I’ve used them more. I expect this to become a 5 star at a later date.
