this is what you need… the lights work even without the hub .. just plug it into any outlet or timer… the fan works great.. its plug and play…. i was worried if i needed the hub to run it.. but u dont.. i will be getting the hub.. cause im run 2 lights. + the vivson fans….. if you run only 1 light.. no hub needed…

This light is amazing, powerful and has all the lights your plant will need in each stage of growth. You will not need another light unless you upgrade tent size. BUT… the fans that are built into this light could be more powerful. yes you can turn up and down the speed, but if my 6in clip on fans are blowing harder at level 5 then the lights fan at level 5… something is wrong. i guess it does promote air flow for the plants bc the blades are spinning but stick your hand underneath the light and feel for yourself and than your know what I’m talking about.

This item seemed fine but when I connected the separately purchased app dongle and turned the fans down I could hear a loud buzzing sound from the LEDs. From some research I realised this was not normal. With longevity in question I returned for a full refund which was quick & simple. Aside from the fault, the app & fan made this quite a good all rounder setup. If the fan breaks down in the near future then you’d just have a light therefore I have since realised I would rather have fans and lights as separate entities like the spider farmer setup. Quite a few people seem happy with their purchase so it’s probably kinda of a hit & miss situation. Good luck with your purchase.

Great powerful light for my 2×4 tent easy to adjust the power via the control panel however if you don’t have the control panel it’s at 100% otherwise fantastic light

its really really a good product , like it’s the best bang for the buck I’ve tried . HuB is amazing !!!! if you are oldschool it can still work without it but you are missing all the features on the app . Fan is a bit loud on the down side .
