All plastic but nice looking and durable.
Bought this to replace the previous one. I had bought 2 other types of bird feeders with a metal rod going down the center but the squirrels mangled them in one day. Yes, the squirrels will manage their way into this feeder but not to the point of breaking it. I accept they will get their share of birdseed and knock some on the ground for the larger birds or ground feeders to eat. It all works in the end.It is all plastic and maybe thatâs why it lasts longer than the glass and metal feeders. I would buy it again if needed. I had the previous one for about 2 years.

Excellent Bird Feeder
This is the best bird feeder I’ve ever had. Its drainage holes are properly designed, it doesn’t clog, it is easy to refill. The design has no mechanical issues. Ive purchased 3 of those so far. It would be great if they were made in different colors.

Great look and price
We keep seed out year round and love top filling feeders. This one is good, however, the mechanism to latch prevents filling the feeder to the top. Additionally when the feed gets into the mechanism it will not close until you get feed out which isn’t always easy. It is beautiful and goes well with our shepherds hooks and greenhouse, but hope the next version raises the latching system so you can get the extra couple of cups of feed in without problems. Great price.

AWESOME bird feeder!
Totally my mistake for thinking it would not be plastic – I was shopping for a metal bird feeder. But I am very pleasantly surprised with this one! Although plastic, it does not have a âcheapâ look to it. It is very cute hanging in my flower bed outside my bathroom window. I love that you can easily see the feed level in it. My favorite part though is the way that the bottom is designed. It has lots of holes in the bottom that contain the bird seed, but allow rain to freely run through. So after quite a few weeks of use, my bird seed does not appear to have any traces of mold. It took a looooonnnggg time for the birds to find it, but they finally did and now I just love looking out my bathroom window in the morning when i am getting ready, watching the birds enjoy it as much as I do. 🙂

The top is difficult to close.
It looks nice but the top is almost impossible to reposition after you put seed in. Thereâs a strange little groove that has to be matched with the top in order to close it. I was ready to throw it across the room and finally had to give up. Iâm returning it.

Holds a lot of seed.
This bird feeder holds quite a bit of bird seed so you wonât have to refill all the time. It is easy to open and hang. Because it is made of plastic it will not rust and is made well. It will also be easy to clean since the size allows for your hand to easily reach into the feeder. I think that this is a good quality feeder for the price.

Practical and Sturdy!
I love this feeder for its design. It ia made of sturdy plastic, holds over 3lbs of seed and even with all that seed it is so easy for me to lift it up to the shepherd hood I hang it on. (I have dropped other feeders because they are so unwieldy) the birds have enough of a base to perch on & still have room to share. The roof lifts easily for refilling and or cleaning and fits back on without a lot of maneuvering required. The seed is protected from the elements by the clear plastic sides! I highly recommend this bird feeder and I believe my little feathered friends ( finches and sparrows, even the red bellied woodpecker as big as he is figured out how to feed at this one, heâs just upside down AND the squirrels Cannot! Ha!

Quality did not match price. Plastic , top needs to fit just right , birds can knock top off kilter so water can get inside.
