Best bar shampoo and conditioner
I go through a lot of bar shampoo and conditioner, and so far I haven’t found one that 1) will last as long as it says and 2) won’t make my hair a mess.I see some reviews complaining that it doesn’t foam or “suds”. It’s not supposed to. You work a bit into your scalp and use that to run it down the rest of your hair. Yes, you have to work a bit more vigorously or, use a scalp massager, but I promise you’re hair is going to be just as clean even if you don’t see foam all over the place. This shampoo will last a lot longer than all the other ones I’ve gone through in little more than a week, and it’s definitely worth the price point with the ingredients.The conditioner made my hair so slick and soft that I literally ran my comb through my wet, knotted hair with no resistance. There is no weigh down (unless you didn’t rinse out thoroughly).The little bar container is super cute and awesome. I like that it’s has a double compartment to stack my bars in one easy to store.place.I held off for months on buying this, thinking that the price wasn’t great for what I’m getting. That others were a few dollars cheaper. I know I was wrong, because every rice water/rice shampoo bar lasted 2 weeks days max, and my son’s bottle of shampoo lasts so much longer than that (his hair is long than mine).

This bar stuff is awesome! Even on color treated hair. The conditioner lasts longer than the shampoo and its leaves your hair super silky. The bamboo container is perfect and keeps your bars from melting away in the water. HIGHLY recommend!

I have incredibly sensitive skin and I react to most commercially available shampoos and conditioners. Unfortunately the products I have used for the last decade were recently reformulated and I can not tolerate them in the new formulation. I considered other solid shampoos but ultimately chose Viori because I have had great success with the ingredients. (I hadn’t used broccoli seed oil before but I can eat broccoli so it was a fair bet I’d tolerate it as an ingredient.)These have been extremely gentle on my skin/scalp.As an added benefit, after a month of use I find it is easier than ever to brush my hair. I have long (lower back) length hair that is very curly and coarse. It used to be very thick as well but after decades of purposely thinning my hair it has lost a fair bit of the thickness.Brushing my hair used to be a tedious process that I dreaded and it always took longer than I expected.I can now brush it easily in less than 2 minutes even if it is tangled, even if it has been a few days since I last washed it. Additionally, I’ve noticed that hair breakage associated with brushing has almost completely stopped.My hair is healthier than I can ever remember.I do suggest testing the product to see how long it takes after washing before you need to wash it again. I find that I need to wash it every 4-5 days tho I can push that a bit longer if I just condition it after 2 days.It has been pretty easy to switch to the solid products tho conditioning was a bit harder to master. The first few times I used it I gave myself extra time and I needed it. Now it is faster for me to use the bar than traditional shampoo and conditioner.I can’t say yet if it improves hair thickness but I imagine I will notice some improvement based solely on the fact that I’m losing less to breakage.The bamboo holder is super convenient. The product info is not clear but mine came with 2 trays and 1 lid which is really helpful.Do rinse and dry the bamboo tray at least twice a month and ideally store it out of the way of the shower so it lasts longer.I can’t vouch for the scented versions of this product, but I’m extremely pleased with the fragrance free stuff. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to switch!

Amazing product, but….
This shampoo and conditioner was life changingIt took 2 months for me to go through it completelyI have hair down to my buttThe storage basket didn’t mold and is still sturdy and going strongMy hair was the healthiest, and happiest it’s ever been, when the cold weather hit i made sure to use 2-3 drops of neutral oil to my hair to keep it healthy and prevent dryness or breakage.Hair fall out became a 1/3 of it’s former selfAnd the softness, bounce, and strength of my hair is unmatchedIt lightly scented, but don’t expect to smell the scent in your hair the next dayThe only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because despite my hairs health improvement I started breaking out into hives on my scalp and hands. I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me.Turns out if you have a latex allergy, aloe Vera falls under that umbrella along with banana and avocado. Aloe Vera is in the shampoo and the conditioner.So if you have a latex allergy this is not the product for you which is unfortunate cause I was so happy with my hair just not at the cost of a burning itchy scalp and hands.Would buy again, and highly recommend if you don’t have a latex allergy.

Great product
The shampoo bar lathers nicely, compared to the conditioner bar. Nevertheless, I enjoy using these products- my hair feels healthy and shiny. I do like saving the planet part. The conditioner bar, even though itâs not supposed to have any smell, has a hint of a not so pleasant smell. For that reason Iâll choose it with some nice scent next time.

Pretty good
Finally found a shampoo bar without fragrance or coconut in it. My family and many people I know are allergic to coconut and fragrance. It causes bad rashes and most all shampoo I keep finding has them. Don’t know if all the coconut shuff is some hygiene fad but it’s aggravating how everything uses fragrance (Most even have it as high as the 2nd or third ingredient)but finally found something I can use. Also love the little faux steamer bar holder. Very cute and works rather well in my experience. I seem to go through shampoo faster then I go through the conditioner but I’ll definitely be buying more.

I have been struggling to find a product to help my menopausal hair. It is dry, I have hair fall, it is thinning.I have tried both expensive salon products, drugstore products & natural products. I was always disappointed because nothing worked. I reached a point where I stopped highlighting my hair for two years, trying to get my hair back to a healthier state. I had contemplated trying a bar shampoo and conditioner for a long time. I finally decided to try a few months ago. I am very happy I did and I canât see ever going back to bottled shampoo and conditioner. My neighbour commented on how much healthier and shiny my hair looked. I told her what I was using and she has made the switch and has converted many of her friends and family to use it as well.I also purchased Viori for my teenage daughter and she loves it and will continue to use it.My hair grows fairly quickly now too.You have to make a little extra effort to rinse out the conditioner, but it works great on our hair!

I’ve only used the shampoo and conditioner a couple times so far so I can’t comment too much on them except, other than I prefer to lather them in my hands then rub my hand through my hair, because it seems less awkward than rubbing the bar on my hair; and my hair seems normal compared to my previous shampoo (Aussie moist shampoo and conditioner.) My scalp felt a bit itchy after the first use, but I figure I’d let my hair and scalp get used to it before being too accusatory.For the bamboo tray – its super cute and good quality, but why this is a good idea is beyond me. I should have trusted my instict and just got the shampoo and conditioner separately without the bamboo holder. Yes, it’s a better deal to buy it this with with the bamboo tray, but the bamboo tray base is so thick that it traps moisture between the bar and the bamboo – so much so that I had to run water along the tray for a while so I could unstick my conditioner bar from it. And when I did, small bits of the bar were stuck on the tray.I’m going back to my dollar store silicone soap trays for these in my shower.Maybe if your shower is larger and you can put the trays really away from any residual water spray then maybe it will work better for you – but for me and my shower situation, no bueno.Hopefully I will update or give a follow up comment on the actual shampoo and conditioner bars in the next month or more.UPDATE: After using the shampoo and conditioner for almost 4 months. I added a pic of both bars. The darker square is the conditioner.Conditioner – I liked it. It was “softer” – as in, easier to lather up and apply to my hair.Shampoo – I dropped it in my fiberglass shower. It immediately broke into 4 pieces. ugh. Now it’s even more difficult to use. The shampoo is “drier” than the conditioner – as in it took much more work to get it to lather. I really didn’t like rubbing the bar in my hair. It felt very aggressive like I was pulling too hard at my delicate wet hair. It didn’t lather well, and I felt like I was wasting so much more time in the shower trying to get it to lather.. I may as well use a regular shampoo instead of a bar.Overall – I don’t think shampoo/condition bars are for me. Will not buy again. Will not recommend
