Great product with almost miraculous results
Worked incredible on a long standing wound on my cat that he has had for a couple of years. It would come and go, but then mustâve gotten irritated and grew in size. The vet wanted to remove it, but we decided to give this a try. It worked like a miracle. Within a couple of weeks it was completely gone with no sign of it. The spray didnât have a bad odor and it was pleasant and the cat actually enjoyed having it sprayed on and it never hurt or bothered him. It stopped the itching and irritation within a few days but spraying it on 2-3 times per day it was a miracle.

Canât go wrong with having this for your dog when they get a minor cut just use it three times a day to make the healing process faster it is odorless clear and doesnât hurt the dogs. The healing rate is really fast when you use it. The three times a day causes no skin irritation so must have if you have a dog.

Product is great but there’s one minor issue…
We foster and train dogs and absolutely LOVE Vetericyn…we *always* have it on hand. It’s great to clean minor wounds, protect them, and help them heal faster. It’s also totally safe if dogs end up ingesting it a bit of it by licking themselves after it’s applied (try to limit that, of course, but it’s comforting to know that it’s non-toxic and environmentally-friendly). We recommend it to everyone and have never heard a bad review about the product. 🙂 The ONLY reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because of the spray nozzle on the hydrogel bottles.Since the spray nozzle changed (not sure on the date…within the past couple of years, I believe), we’ve only been able to get through about half of the 16-ounce bottle before the nozzle completely stops working. Nothing comes out *at all* and the way that the bottle is manufactured makes it impossible to take the nozzle off (it doesn’t untwist like a typical spray nozzle, likely due to FDA regulations and the contents being an OTC medication) so the only options are to toss the remaining Vetericyn stuck inside the bottle out or cut through the bottle and put the remaining Vetericyn into a different container.Despite the spray nozzle being less-than-ideal, the product is still very much worth it! :)*Please note, we thoroughly clean the nozzle after each use as recommended and will only have the bottle for a few months, kept inside at room temperature out of direct sunlight.

Must-have in your vet-med cabinet! I bought this to treat my young pullet after an unfortunate incident involving an aggressive turkey (pullet got scalped, tore the skin off the entire top of her head including part of her left eyelid and ear). It’s been about 4 weeks, and the skin is 80% regenerated and is even slowly regrowing feathers.This hydro-gel was the most important part of the treatments I provided every 12 hours. I would disinfect with Veterycin antimicrobial spray, douse the wound in a pountry wound healing aid spray, and coat it all with this hydro-gel to keep it moist and disinfected for extended periods of time.It gels up quick and stays moist well when the wound is kept indoors (it dries into a white residue if outdoors, so you need to reapply more often). The fact that it is antimicrobial is very nice, it is convenient and effective. Also no risk of attracting flies/insects like in the case of using honey (or manuka honey) to coat the wounds.

Works great my cat is dealing with ringworm from the groomer not cleaning their tools and all 5 of my long haired cats ended up getting it after a visit to the groomer & all have healed but 1 bc she kept scratching it and spreading it. I tried to cone her and she was miserable. Then I found this spray and read reviews and I also have been spraying her with conzole 1% as well as oral meds but this spray stops her from scratching it so we are now on our way to healing.

Best ever!! My dog had a chicken allergy which was causing itching and scabby ears. After trying many different things that werenât working and not wanting to use a steroid cream I gave this a shot. Purchased on September 12th and began using it right away. The photos for reference are September 12th and September 27th. This stuff is a game changer!! No more itching. Scabs are basically gone. I will recommend this to everyone.
