It works! This foul smelling miracle product is AMAZING!
First off, this stuff is the foulest smelling stuff on the face of the earth (well at least that I have smelled) It smells like your house got bombed with 10,000,000 rotten eggs and then baked in the sun on the hottest and most humid day of summer and then your windows had fans blowing it inside the house. The smell lingers in your hair, clothes and towels…you name it. BUT it does dissipate over time (hours-days depending on the item)Ok, now that that is out of the way….IT WORKS!!!! You have no idea the money this has saved my family! We rescued a stray about a year ago. She had some fur missing off her paws, I thought it was from fleas, got her flea medication and she was still up at night itching all the time. I combed her with a flea comb…not a single flea, no flea dirt…nothing! Figured it must be her food, Right? Wrong! But I didn’t find out until I spend tons of money of every natural, holistic, grain free, vet recommended, 5 star rated cat food I could get my hands on. I thought the food would work for a while until her itching would cause sores, then I would switch her food and the cycle would start over again. It.Was.A.Nightmare!One day out of the blue her entire rear end was chewed, blistered looking and bleeding. I made an emergency vet appointment and my car broke down on the way there. Completely upset and having no car for a few days, I feared her life and did TONS of research. I found out she probably had ringworm and or mange and that the only reason the expensive cat food was helping was it helped her immune system but couldn’t get rid of the fungus/mites which would explain the “breakouts”So after a bunch of reading, I purchased the Lime Sulfur Dip and dipped her in a bucket filled with a gallon of water and 1 cup of the sulfur. She hated it but I was able to keep her soaking in the solution for at least 3-5 minutes. I wore cleaning gloves and clothes I hated just fyi. When she was done, without drying her at all, I put her in a cat carrier that I use to transport her to the vet, and placed the carrier in the tub. I tried to check on her to be sure she wasn’t licking herself and let her out when she was dry enough to stay in the bathroom without staining anything.I did this weekly for three weeks and then did every other week for two more times. She still has a small (less then dime size) rash on her cheek, which I am now using another product on, one that I squirt directly on her called Vetericyn (also available on Amazon) that also works wonders! And probably the only reason it stayed on her cheek is because that is the hardest place to get when dipping a cat while trying not to get it in their eyes, but other than that she is ALL cleared. Her hair has has completely grown back and is now even thicker on her sides than it’s been (b/c she would lick constantly) I couldn’t believe how amazing this stuff is!With all of the information I read about cats and ringworm, I found many people were spending upwards for $30.00-$75.00 per dip from a vet. Plus that doesn’t include the regular vet cost. If you can deal with the smell and some scratches then do not hesitate buying! It has saved me a tremendous amount of money. I’m not saying don’t go to the vet, but if their solution is having you come in weekly for a dip…do it yourself! And yes, I also believe this should be the first go to if you suspect your kitty has a fungus, you may not even need the trip to the vet! As a matter of fact, I would never take in a stray now without just dipping in in this stuff as a precaution. It’s great just to have on hand, especially since if you order this online, like I did, you have to wait for it to arrive and depending on the situation it could be a ticking time bomb so just order this is you have pets or deal with strays on any level. Now getting the ringworm out of your house is another story! Athletes foot spray over the entire area the animal uses (luckily mine was just in a bedroom) and a good rug shampoo over that after a few days along with washing bedding, clothes…anything the animal has touched in hot water and bleach if possible is recommended. Hope that helps!

Fixed the ringworm problem, but be careful with it
This immediately improved my cats ringworm. A combination of this and oral terbinafine pills from the vets made a drastic change in their infection.I was originally treating my one cat with miconazole cream & terbinafine pills but he wasn’t showing any improvement. When I saw my other cat get a patch on her toe I knew I needed to step up my game. This made a much bigger difference. The application – I applied it while the cat sat in my shower with the door closed inside of a clean litter box (I have one they never used). This collected the liquid that came off of them and contained the mess & allowed me to reuse it. It also got the bottom of their paws on it, which was an infected area. This helped a lot. If I were to do it on them full body again I think a spray bottle would be a good applicator. For applying around their eyes I recommend using a cheap tooth brush. My cat has it surrounding one eye completely and this is how I applied. I made sure to avoid his mucus membranes, but at the same time I had to get it close as that’s where his infection is the worst. I then put cones on them and gave them both churu. After the light towel drying so they aren’t dripping they should be allowed to air dry for several hours before they groom. After applying I immediately ran the shower on hot for a while to thoroughly wash away the lime sulfur solution. Some smell lingered and I’ve tried cleaning with a vinegar solution, which worked OK, but there may be better cleaning products. After my cats dried they needed significant brushing. A very large amount of hair came out, which is normal after bathing. There was also some hair loss & dry skin on one of my cats ears as I accidentally made the solution a bit too strong the first bath. This healed over a few days, though. I did go longer between treatments to wait for him to heal, but the first bath alone nuked basically all of his ringworm and he didn’t have any patches glowing under black light for 1.5 weeks after and significant hair grew back in that time. He now has a very tiny glow above his eye still, which I am spot treating every 3/4 days. I also treat his forearm that he rubs that area with during grooming as ringworm previously transferred there. My other cat needed 2 treatments + terbinafine to have her minor ringworm symptoms go away.My recommendation I haven’t seen elsewhere – if you get significant amounts of this on any clothes or towels just throw them out. I ran mine through the wash AND dryer. This made the washer and dryer require heavy cleaning and the smell got on other clothes / my blanket which I ran through after. I STRONGLY encourage you not to do this. I’d say either use old towels or buy the cheapest towels you can find.

Update: this definitely works, my dog is much much better and happier. Fur has grown back and his bad smell has gone after just 2 treatments. Thoroughly recommend and so pleased we tried this.Just tried this, so I can’t comment on the effect yet, hence 4 stars. Thought I’d share my tips though. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look an egg sandwich in the face again. I’m so glad we did the bathing outside! I bought a cheap kiddies paddling pool, new pair of marigolds and dressed in old clobber. Bathing a 38lb chocolate Labrador is always a back breaking experience, but Rupe was very good. Don’t attempt this on your own, you need a partner to hold the dog, we used one of those lampshade collars too. I did the bathing whilst my husband stood over our dog and made lots of jokes about eggy farts. Beware when you finish – your dog will shake! Put him/her on a lead and go for a walk straight away! The husband did this whilst I poured a big glass of wine! This stuff is really expensive and one hell of an exercise, but if you’re at your wit’s end and so is your dog then it’s worth the hassle (I hope). Do it outside, have a helper and wear gloves. Hopefully it will work on our dog, I’ll let you know if I can!

This has worked Miracles for my dog. She’s been scratching like mad to the point she’s lost some hair on her rump and has had a sore on her ear for weeks that she would not let heal. I’ve tried everything you can imagine to stop this. One treatment with this and within 3 days her ear has healed and her hair is growing back! She’s noticeably happier and I am so relieved! I could not recommend enough! We bathed her Inside in the bath as the weather is so bad and although it stinks it hasn’t stained the bath (phew). Really is worth every penny.

This product finally helped the almost 2 months of terrible itching my two Boxers had -which was definitely Not fleas- and everything else did not help! I first used as directed, shampooing and rinsing the dogs well and then applying this solution diluted as directed. It only helped a little bit. So next day I diluted it less and applyed it directly on the itchy spots and that worked great! Finally more quiet again, especially in the night, without their itching, poor dogs.

Messy to use but that’s nothing I didn’t expect….. hasn’t dyed my white cat completely yellow, he’s more of a cream colour! 🙂
