First I must say that I am a Vine reviewer and I received this Veehoo Hanging Bird Feeder for Outdoors, 3 in 1 Large Capacity Metal Mesh Tube Bird Feeder for Thistle Nyjer Peanut, Wild Triple Finch Cardinal Feeders 6 lbs Seed Capacity for free as pert of the vine program. The Vine program was created to generate reviews of new products at amazon. This is a very nice Bird feeder, It was well constructed (mostly of metal) and can hold three different types of bird foot at the same time. It’s divided into three sections. In one section you can put sunflower seeds a very cardinal friendly food. In another you part you can put mixed seeds, nuts thistle etc., to bring all kinds of birds; and on the back you can put thistles, so they can eat through the mesh and that would bring golden finches and other small birds, It can hold up to 6 LBS of food. It is easy to hang. The feeder has drainage so when it rains the water will drain out and keep the food dry. It has three feeder holes up front for easy access for the birds and has mesh in the back for the smaller birds. The top easily comes off so you can load in the food. This bird feeder is very well made, useful, will bring in many beautiful birds, it can hold 6 LBS and I love it. High recommendation.

Well made feeder – Mostly made of metal – Coated steel cable to hang
My wife feeds the birds, lots of birds. In fact we have various feeders all over the property throughout the year. I got this tri-chamber feeder to consolidate some feeders, especially for the winter, on the primary pole near the kitchen window.It’s made mostly of metal, except for the clear plastic section with the perches. It’s nice and heavy which when filled should dampen the swinging on windy days. Aside from the clear section with perches for mixed seed, it has two chambers with a coarse and a fine mesh. The coarse screen would be good for sunflower seeds and maybe peanuts. The fine mesh is what I normally have for thistle seed feeders. So, this large capacity feeder can combine three different feeders into one space.This feeder is easy to fill by lifting the top up on the coated steel cable hanger wire. The catch pan around the base has drain holes to help in keeping the feeder dry.We had really great attraction to this feeder, especially since a new feeder may take time for the birds to get used to it when first hung. In our case, we had birds on it within the first hour it was out. So, they like it, and we like its combination of chambers and that makes it a win-win for this feeder.

High Quality Feeder, But WAY Bigger Than Advertised!
This feeder is an absolute beast! That can be good or bad, depending on what you want. The listed dimensions/weight are a little misleading. It weighs just under 3.5 lbs empty, and 10-12 lbs when full (depending on seed type). It’s nearly the size of a 5 gallon paint bucket! If you want a feeder you can fill once every couple of weeks, this is it. If you like to tend your feeders daily, or have a problem lifting/hanging something a bit heavier than a gallon of milk you might want something different.It’s a hybrid tube/mesh/hopper feeder with three very large compartments, you can easily load 2+ pounds of almost any mix per compartment. The design includes a roof overhang and drainage holes so birds stay comfortable in wet weather. In just a few days we’ve seen chickadees and nuthatches visiting regularly, and even spotted a few bluejays, cardinals, and blackbirds checking it out.Overall the build quality is excellent. The front plastic, perches, metal mesh, and bottom tray are solid, and completely sturdy. The thick painted metal should hold up well to the elements and I suspect a deer could knock it around, or a raccoon could climb on it without causing any real damage.My gripe is the ambiguous measurements listed. I was honestly shocked at its size, then even more shocked at the weight when loaded up. This is easily the largest/heaviest feeder we have ever had. They should fix their measurements and maybe do a little better conveying the scale. Had I known its true size I would have passed on this feeder.
