Valley Farms is a family owned and operated wild bird food company based in Walden, NY. In 1968, our grandfather began a garden center called Farmer Jones. The family became passionate about local plants and wildlife of the Hudson Valley and in 1982, we started Valley Farms.

Birds love it!
I have birdfeeders out side of the window at my office. I have tried several brands, but continue to come back to this brand because the birds love it! Warning, the squirrels love it also which is why I have my bird feed in âsquirrel bustersâ feeders

Birds are in love with the stuff!
Absolutely love this product! It is incredibly fresh, no fillers, and I have a lot more birds such as bluejays, cardinals, songbirds, woodpeckers, coming to the feeder now. They fight over this stuff! Squirrels love it too. The only downside is that because, they love it so much, I have to fill the feeders more often and this stuff is expensive! Well worth it though, seeing all the birds in the backyard.

My birdseed brings all the bird to the yards.
This is the other birdseed we fill our feeders with. We have so many birds that come to our yard it is absolutely amazing. Blue jays, cardinals, woodpeckers, doves, chickadees, juncos, finches, sparrows. We attribute it to the high-quality food and good placement of our feeder in a sheltered area. Guests at our home marvel at the bird show.

Birds and critters love it!
I have no idea what it tastes like, but I have hanging feeders and ground feeders I fill each morning, and I’ve attracted so many different birds, 5 squirrels (at first there was just one, but I think he told all his friends) and two chipmunks who absolutely love this food. They eat all day long. My husband and I love watching them. The food is a great mix of things they like, seems very fresh, and shipped quickly. Definitely worth buying and the only brand I will buy from now onit

The truth from someone who has 65 years of experience with various seed.
I have 65 years experience feeding birds and have continued to experiment with various seeds. This product is full of filler. Full of white proso millet. Causes bridging in cylinder feeders. Doves love the white millet. The sunflower seeds are nice and mature. The feed could be improved by using brown safflower seeds instead of white. Birds can not crack white safflower seeds so they pitch them to ground. They love the brown however. Brown safflower attracts almost every seed eating species in the South. I would not buy this product again unless modified. I would pay more for an improved product. Mobile, Alabama.

Happy Birds
I didnât know much about birdseeds, and I still donât know too much. I did learn about the types of seeds & bird food that birds enjoy & which mixtures attract rats when it falls to the ground. I have happy birdsâ¦.& one happy squirrel.
