This is a nice, small LED light. It is great that it has its own dimmer. This makes the dimmer more reliable than a separate dimmer would be. It is quick and easy to set up and has been a great addition to my gecko’s cages. It works the best so far in the setup I have currently. Using a longer heat lamp on one side to cover 2/3 of the cage, and then using this light on the last section. This works best, since the geckos still get UVB throughout the cage, but since LED lights do not produce heat, there is no extra heat being built up and ruining the heat gradient, so one side of the cage can still be cool.

Making one happy leopard gecko
This is a great ubv lamp for your favorite gecko friend. I was impressed with how sturdy and well made it feels. The options are good and allow for me to turn it to a simple warm white when I want to see my little guy or show him off.My tank needed a good basking light and this is going to fully satisfy the needs for spectrum lights and warmth as well as a great viewing light.I love the multiple options and the ease of changing settings given the way the switch is set up in line.It produces bright and warm light and runs quiet and doesn’t get hot on the top.

Great light
This is a nice, versatile lamp.The size is perfect for my turtles basking box.The wires it comes with to hang it are very flimsy, and I would not trust them to hold the light.I had to rig it a little differently, but that is normal for making additions to the terrarium. -Therefore, I am not knocking the rating down.I definitely recommend this light. It is exactly what I was looking for for the basking box.

Reliable UVB light for reptiles
This light fit perfectly in my tank setup and has been working well for my bearded dragon. It provides steady UVB and heat, and the adjustable brightness helps me fine tune the environment. The included timer switch is a nice bonus since it saves me from remembering to turn it on and off manually. The lamp housing feels solid and doesnât overheat, even after hours of use. My dragon has been more active since switching to this bulb, which makes me feel good about the choice. A dependable light at a fair price for reptile care.

Wow!!! This is my new go-to lamp for vivariums!
It puts out an impressive amount of UV. Just look at that UV measurement through the mesh top! Too much, I know, but you can dim down the UV independent of the white light. I really wasnât expecting much UV from LEDs, but this just blew my expectations out of the water!Plus the lamp also has the red and white and for plant growth.It secures easily to mesh with the spring hooks provided – no other hanging hardware is included.The casing is substantial and durable, but it does get hot. From then inside of the enclosure (with the lamp resting directly on top of the mesh), itâs just warm and wonât burn my reptile. But Iâll definitely sure to keep plenty of airflow above and around the unit. Even though itâs low profile, it still needs headspace for ventilation.After a few minutes on the enclosure, my Chameleon was happily basking below the lamp.
