Good for cameras
I have this set up for my main wifi router/modem and it’s nice knowing that it will continue to work for a while in the event of a power outage. I lose power all the time, but typically my fiber connection is unaffected, so this should get me through for a while in an outage.

Get something bigger.
Insufficient power

Works fine
It works, Battery life is approx. 1 to1.5 hours with a Wi-Fi router and an extender. I expected longer battery life.

Power when you need it!
I’m glad to finally get my hands on a battery very much like this cause when the power goes out, everything goes with it. This item is designed to allow you to plug your modem/router into it to power it up and provide juice to allow someone to properly shutdown their network system or to contact someone in case a power outage occurs or other scenario. The battery came charged for the most part and the functionality is simple, and straight forward on how to use it. The value for the money is easily very high, if not, priceless.

Advertised as 36 Watts output. It’s only 18 Watts. Can’t handle a higher end router.
Just not enough power in this thing to plug my router into. It can handle my modem, but that’s it. What I ordered advertised it could handle 36 Watts, but what was shipped to me can only handle 18 Watts. The product description is false. There were no choices of “There are different models that handle different Watts” only, “This is what you get and it’s 36 Watts.” Turns out, according to the user manual, there are 4 models. What I was sent only handles 18 Watts while the high end one handles 36 Watts. I feel cheated, as I can’t even use it.Since this is unable to handle my power requirements, I am unable to test it to see how well it works, as I am afraid it would do damage to both the unit and my equipment. For the price, it’s just not worth it. There are other UPS on Amazon that are under $30 and deliver more power than this does and have a longer battery life. If I had known it was only 18 Watts, I would have steered clear of it. But alas, the product description clearly states it can handle up to 36 Watts maximum while it only handles 18 Watts.

Not great .. too many compromises.
The idea here is good, the execution? Meh..Couple of big issues here:1. POE support is passive POE only where a constant voltage is supplied. It doesn’t support the POE+/POE++/POE+++ standard that most modern devices use. So if you have an older device that works with passive this is a solution.2. The barrel connectors don’t have any visible polarity settings or labels. So I have no idea what the polarity is on these and I’m reluctant to plug in a device to find out. The company said the polarity doesn’t matter when I asked them but it most certainly does!So two of the biggest features of this little UPS are compromised . Beyond that it doesn’t provide all that much power, 18 watts total, so it’ll be limited to very low power consuming devices. The battery capacity is enough to survive a power glitch or a short outage but it will only last about an hour or so at full draw.

Peace of mind sorted
I’ve been using this as a backup for my router and modem during power outages. It does the job without a hitch. The thing is, it’s compact enough to fit neatly on my crowded desk. No more worrying about losing internet when the lights flicker. Setup was straightforward, even for someone like me who’s not super tech-savvy. The multiple voltage outputs are helpful, though I mainly stick to 12V. It’s reliable and sturdy, which is crucial for peace of mind. Battery life seems solid so far. The LED indicators are bright enough but not annoying. Good stuff, really.

Mini DC UPS Battery Backup
This little backup power supply is very handy for keeping routers and cameras running during outages. Itâs compact, easy to set up, and offers multiple voltage options. The runtime isnât huge but plenty for short outages or brownouts. A great piece of insurance for home electronics.
