So far these are great for my tortoise enclosure. We’ll see if they stand up over time. I do like the fact you can connect more then one together to power both at the same time.

Works great. Easy to use. Love the adjustable brightness feature. Got this for my red ear slider. My prior lights were insufficient so I hope this will help it shed the shell plates. Was a little confused as the box says 5.0 one one side and 10.0 on the other but the tag by the bar code says 10.0 so I’m hoping that is correct. Once I get the above tank basking area done, this will be perfect for my little buddy.

Also perfect over your bird cages!
I got this light to use over my conure’s cage for his UVB needs. It works perfectly for this purpose, and the stand keeps the light far enough away from his cage that he cannot chew it. It fits perfectly. The adjustability of output is great because he doesn’t need full strength. The controls are very easy to use. The quality of construction is great, and it seems like it will be very durable. At the price it is a great value, and I can easily recommend it.

I wanted to like it!
Well, first things first, it is defective. The light arrived in an undamaged box, unpacking revealed what appeared to be a well-made product. I planned to use this on my beardie enclosure so I fit it to the enclosure and put it all together…. nothing. no combination of the intensity or power switch produced any light. I tried it on a different outlet, still nothing. Because these are so simply made, I reasoned I must have gotten a defective bulb, it happens. I finally got around to ordering a replacement pack of bulbs and fit one to the fixture. Still nothing, i tried the other bulb, also nothing! I may eventually dig into this thing and find out WHY it isn’t working but from a consumer standpoint, I can’t recommend it based off my experience with this one unit. I badly wanted to like it.

Great UVB/A light.
This is a really nice UVB/A light for larger enclosures. It seems very well made, while still being light weight. The aluminum housing is sturdy and contains a nice reflector to get the light where it needs to be. It also has a switch to control light intensity at 50, 75, or 100 percent. The removable power cord is robust and has an inline power switch that functions as it should. I really like that the light comes with hardware to mount it inside enclosures. It also comes with a connector to chain lights together which is great.I have used the light for awhile now on one of my 48 inch enclosures. It fits that size perfectly, and it has worked great for me so far. It is also a pretty good value for a 35 inch 10.0 light fixture.
