A Soft Break-Away Cat Collar With Identification Tube
I absolutely love these break-away cat collars! My cat is allowed toplay around outside during the day. It keeps him happy, independent and balanced. Henever goes far from the house and always comes when called. However, if he evershould stray from home, it is important to me that he can be identified by wearing acollar with a tag in addition to being microchipped. Of course, the collar needs to be abreak-away kind to keep my baby from strangling himself if he should get caught in abranch, etc. He doesnât loose his collars very often, but it does happen every now andthen. Having a large piece of land with 41 trees (!), itâs impossible to find the lost collars,so I have to replace them and also get a new identification tag. What I like about thisparticular break-away collar is two-fold. First, it is made out of soft pleather material thatdoesnât have sharp edges. If you ever feel the underside of your typical canvas/flat ropecollar, you can always detect hard glue areas that can scratch and irritate the skin. Iwould not want to wear something like this around my neck permanently, so why wouldI subject my cat baby to it? I used to glue smooth fabric over these areas, but I no longerneed to go through this extra work with these pleather collars. They are smooth,non- irritating all the way around. The second advantage is that I no longer have to orderidentification tags (which are an extra expense). These collars include a little watertighttube into which you can roll an identification paper piece (supplied). My cat does notneed the little bell that these collars come with, and even here, the removal of the bell isnot extra work and does not need pliers, but can easily be ârolledâ off. This is such agood product!

Collar is lasting so much better and longer than nylon ones. My cat looks so sophisticated! I removed the bell etc. because litter mates were grabbing at themI basically got it to tell him apart from his identical brother.

Donât waste your money or endanger your cats with these cheap collars
Clasps get stuck. I had to hold down one of my cats to get the stuck clasp off! No way I will use these – they are not safe!!

Very soft leather material.
They feel almost like silicone. Very soft and pliable. I prefer these over the fabric types because those tend to fray, and more than once have caught in my cat’s teeth until I removed it. These are great. Well made and very easy breakaway clasp. Love the little capsule where you can store your contact information. No complaints.

We are cat lovers and weâre very particular about our young catâs collars.We desire three attributes. First we want the color to be colorful and attractive. Both of these collars fit that requirement.Secondly, we want them to be made of a lightweight quality material – and the faux leather of this brand meets that need.Finally, we want them to âworkâ as intended – to attach to the leash without hurting or squeezing the catâs neck. Once again these two collars do that very well.Safe, easy to adjust, a very good value for the money and a product that exceeds our expectations.Definitely recommended.

Cute, but not for Extreme Sports Outdoor Kitty
VERY cute! I love the little bell and the small compartment to put contact information in. Unfortunately, my cat is kind of wild. I received two of these; one was gone in two days. That’s because my cat climbs trees at lightning speed and hangs out up there. I guess that means the collar did it’s job of breaking away so he didn’t get hurt.If your cat is mostly outdoors, this might not be for you. But for a part-time or occasional outdoor cat, he or she will be in high fashion, and protected by the release clip.I assume the other one will go missing soon. However, if the first one reappears, I will repost with pictures and a story!

Just got these collars for my two cats and Iâm really happy with them. They feel well made and seem like theyâll hold up to all the usual outdoor wear. The material is soft, which is a big plus since they can be pretty picky about collars.One feature I really appreciated is the little hidden compartment for your contact info. Itâs such a smart idea.The collars are lightweight, easy to adjust, and the breakaway buckle works as intended. And the colors (I got the green and blue set) are really cute.Overall, great quality for the price.Â
