that it works well
I really like this bird seed catcher as it works well and the size if perfect to go under two hanging bird feeders . The only issue is that the hole that I had to slit in the screen to allow the pole to go thru always gets bigger and I have to replace the entire seed catcher every few months. The design needs to have a metal circle in the screen to allow the pole to go thru and then maybe it would not continue to tear the hole bigger. I have tried several times to patch the hole around the pole with screen tape and it only last a week or so.

MUST have if you have a Bird Seed Feeder
This bird seed catcher is the best thing I’ve purchased in a long time! I was refilling my bird feeder every 4 days because the birds were spilling so much onto the ground below the feeder. The seed catcher hanging below the feeder is amazing! Some of the little finches sit in the screen below the feeder and eat the seed that came out of the feeder! It’s now been 2 weeks since filling the feeder and it’s only 1/3 empty! Not to mention there’s no longer seed all over the ground attracting mice!! Our outdoor pest control guy thought it was so awesome, he took photos of it to show all his customers who have bird feeders outside with mice/rat problems!I HIGHLY recommend this product! It is SO easy to attach to your feeder PLUS it’s adjustable. You decide how close or far to hang it from the bottom of the feeder and adjusting is very easy.

My birds literally disappeared when I hung these on my feeders. I thought it was maybe due to weather change. I left them up for 2-3 weeks. I took them down today and within 10 minutes the birds were back.

Effective occasionally
This product has several faults that affect its overall functionality. One major issue is that the cords are too long. The increased cord length results in fewer hulls and seeds being caught by the feeder. When there is a strong wind, the hooks become unhooked on their own. This causes the seed catcher to hang down. If the cord is adjusted to make it shorter, squirrels are able to sit inside the feeder. In this position, they chew on the plastic in an attempt to get into the squirrel-proof cage feeder. Birds take some time to adjust to the seed catcher swaying. This scares them away. Once the squirrels become frustrated and stop trying to access the feeder, and the birds are no longer scaredâas long as the wind is not blowingâthe feeder works effectively.

These help catch bird food from falling to the ground. Most times, if it doesnât rain I can scoop it up and put it back in the feeder. Sometimes the birds will go into the catcher and eat from there. Very easy to hang, use and clean. I now have 4 of them.

They’re great, until the wind starts to blow… there’s no way to stabilize this product… they could/should provide stronger loops, maybe leather… when the wind blows the thin loops just wear out with the constant movement of the tray.

Amazing product. I hung it up and it works amazing along with the bird feeder I put up. The 30″ option collects almost all seed debris below the feeder (especially if you keep it close enough to the feeder itself), and so long as you bring the catcher and feeder in every night, rats should not be a problem. A fantastic product — highly recommend.

Der Stoff ist etwas zu fein, leider schimmelt er bei viel Regen und setzt sich zu. Muà oft gereinigt werden. Sonst sehr gute Idee und funktioniert.
