Light got extremely dim in one hour
I put a fully charged 12ah Milwaukee battery on and after one hour of fishing the light got so dim you couldnât even tell it was on. The battery was still fully charged. The light was submerged about 18 inches from the side of a pontoon. I donât know if I just got a bad light or if other people have had the same issue. It was real bright when I turned it on then after one hour my fishing partner said the battery must be dead because he could barely tell it was on. I checked the battery and it was still fully charged. I can run a string trimmer for an hour with the same battery. I returned the light and got a replacement in a timely manner and went fishing tonight The replacement light worked great and after 2&1/2 hours of fishing and catching 14 nice crappie the light was just as bright as when I turned it on and the battery was still showing full charge. My first review of one star has been changed to five stars.

Buy at your own risk
Worst 25 bucks or whatever it was Iâve ever spent. Thing worked for 15 minutes on a fully charged battery. Just went bright and then super dim before completely burning out. so I Had no light to fish with cause I trusted this thing. maybe I got a dud, Either way , still disappointed.

Good Fishing Light if you have the Milwaukee Ecosystem
No nonsense fishing light that is ready to go as long as you have some M18 / Milwaukee batteries handy. Bought this for a backup fishing light for a cabin we rented last month. Didn’t know if they had any underwater lights. Although the area was shallow, this light did bring in some smaller bait fish giving us an idea of the lures we needed to try for some bigger fish. Run time was dependent on which capacity M18 battery I was using. I was busy fishing and not timing how long each battery capacity ran. The light output was great. The cord is great for piers that are in deeper water, but in our case we couldn’t throw it out far enough to be in water deeper than about a foot.The price is what ultimately led me to buy this product and I honestly am pretty pleased with the value.111

The 18V LED light is an great choice for my entry-level dad, and myself. This design is portable and for use during short periods of time. The clarity of our water, played a significant role in the overall effectiveness of the light. The deeper the light went the murkier the water was, and the light needed to be more intense to penetrate the water. This is a budget friendly choice and temporary setup for those wanting to try enhance their dock area.
