It is designed for up to 6-foot free fall applications including clothing, tools, etc. with a maximum deployment distance of 48 inch/1.2m & average arresting force 900 lbs. When deployed, the shock cord unpacks allowing a 18′ fall before the elastic part of the cord slows the velocity. Tips: No need to break the sealed package, it will pop open automatically when used.

Easy to Use Slide
We bought this to use while building our house. This is a great quality rope and the slide on it is very easy to use. I felt much safer tethered in and connected to this. It was easy to move the slide up and down the rope as I traversed the roof.

Functionality and great performance
The harness is easy to use and the material is really good and firm. It is easy to adjust and functions well. I personally used it to secure myself in a roof while changing some lights and it works perfect. Good value for your money

Makes me feel safe on roof projects
Iâm just an average homeowner that likes to do home projects by himself. I do get on my roof from time to time for standard maintenance, moss control, holiday lights and have been doing this for about 15 years. I have never used any fall protection up until now. When the house was built, the roof had anchors on it to clip into for safety. As Iâm getting a bit older and feeling a little intimidated while on the roof nowadays, I figured if they installed these anchors, they must have added them for a reason. So I went ahead and ordered me a fall protection harness and this 50â rope (and because the wife told me to) I now feel much safer while doing my roof projects. The quality of the rope and tether equipment seems well constructed and works as described. Iâm no fall safety advisor but do recommend getting this product for your own peace of mind.

I did a roofing project, investing in two harnesses and ropes so I could get one of my kids to help me out. I bought the cheap safety harness in a bucket kit, and also a separate harness with this safety lanyard. Over the course of the project, I used both lanyards.The bucket kit rope was heavier, rougher, and required a pretty good squeeze to get it to move. This rope was lighter weight, smoother, and has a rope break that slides up with little to no touch on the braking mechanism. After using this one, the bucket kit rope felt extremely cumbersome and heavy. I vastly preferred this safety lanyard.

This is an essential tool for anyone working at heights, especially on vertical roofing projects. This 50ft rope provides the perfect length for maneuvering around rooftops safely and securely. I own an old house that is quite tall. With an old house there is always something that needs repairing. This rope has improved my confidence and safety when working on my exterior house projects.
