This stiff poly nylon rope halter has a thin diameter with a carefully twisted crown and strategically placed knots along the noseband. These knots are placed on pressure points along the nose for better control while training. Complete with shrink wrapped ends to prevent fraying. A popular choice when teaching young horses to yield to pressure.

It’s a bit large for smaller horses
Was still adjustable enough for my yearling Mustang, I just cut off the excess on the tie rope. People complain about the end unraveling or cap coming off — just glue it back on before it does, or use some electrical tape. The heat shrink tubing used there is just plain electrical tubing without any glue inside it. The leather strap added to my halter is a Weaver Safety ‘fuse’ making it a breakaway halter to prevent neck injuries. I never turn her out with a halter on anyway, it’s only worn while training, grooming etc. Great halter at a good price point. I got another for a different color.

Halter rope appears to be of good quality and knotted correctly. A good halter to start with if you are trying rope halters for the first time. The standard is on the small side, it didn’t fit my TB. Will try it on the smaller Appendix QH.

I have trouble with rope halter’s fitting my American warm blood this halter fits amazingly well it still has the stiffness it needs to be effective. And out of about 15 rope halters I’ve ever bought it’s the 1st one where the ends don’t come off. And it’s the least expensive one I’ve ever bought this is definitely a great halter especially if you’re into Clinton Anderson training and can’t afford his. This is the 2nd one I have bought my 1st 1 is 2 and a 1/2 years old and still an excellent condition i just wanted a different color this time. The other thing I like about th is the twisted Crown piece is easy to get over and into the tie. Awesome Rope halter.

I bought this for my 4.5 TWH mare to do ground work/lunging, catch her from the pasture, tie her in cross ties, and just about any and everything. The material is stiff, seems of good quality, durable, knots are perfect and my horse is very responsive to this rope halter….but…..It worked well for a couple hours and started to unravel where you tie it, might I add I just received it a couple hours ago from the mailman. I immediately contacted amazon and they are sending me a new one. I really like how this rope halter works for my horse. Itâs stylish and looks good on my horse. Plus itâs very reasonably priced which is an added bonus!!! I honestly believe this works just as well as the Clinton Anderson ones. Highly recommend this rope halter!!!!!

Nice halter, not high quality but does the job. I don’t find the twist in the top rope does anything more than make it a bit annoying to put on. Still good for groundwork training.
