Only hay hoop we will have in our Stables
This is the only hoop we use in our stable. They are easy and quick to install and use for our staff. Eventually after daily use sometimes they break but horses break everything so whatever. I have some hoops going on 3 years of every single day use. I take off the cheap nets that come with them and put on hay chix nets.

Best Invention EVER
I had never even heard of a hay net hoop but but when I found this on Amazon I had to try it. The pain of filling and hanging a hay net 2x a day is in the past forever! It was very easy to install, the metal is sturdy and it feels like it will last for a long time. I was worried that my young horse, who’s very curious, would mess with it but she’s too busy eating hay to bother with it. The hoop makes it so easy to fill and it keeps my horse occupied in her stall for hours. Others have mentioned that the open/close latch is difficult to use but I haven’t experienced that myself. The barn owner was so blown away with mine after I installed it that she is buying them for all her horses.

Very Nice
Purchased this hay hoop because someone else at our barn had one and filling hay bags is a nightmare. The installation was very easy -everything was included (net, hardware etc). This hay hoop had 2 features which I really liked that were different from the other hay hoop in our barn. First, this one has an arm that it slides down when putting in the closed position (pic 1) making it more secure. The second feature (pic 3), is the pin that closes the hoop is physically attached to the hoop so you don’t lose it. Some other hay hoops on the market have a separate pin so it’s easy to lose. Just put it up today so I can’t speak to it’s durability yet. Also, note the color is actually on the hoop itself not on the net (a little different than what’s pictured on the website). One detail to note is that the hay hoop does only fit 2 flakes of hay so that is a drawback. Also, the pin is challenging to line up – you can slide it down and secure it in place as you’re sliding the arms in with the bag stuffed with hay-it is tricky.

Great idea, terrible execution
The powder coating was so thick, it was impossible to slide the hay hoop up and down. The locking mechanism was created backwards and impossible to use. I had to make do after spending over $50 and set it up with a carabiner and eye screw as the lock mechanism and had it pushed as far up as I possibly could so that it didn’t slide down into the bracket. Even then, it would slide down just enough to get stuck and be super difficult to push up (had to resort to a hammer). Now the hoop is so beat up from having to hammer it into place, I can’t even return it. Absolutely do not buy.

Best Slow Feed Hay Product I’ve tried so far…
I have two whole bale hay nets, and a Nibble Net. All of them are quality products, but the Easy Loading Hay Hoop is my favorite. I love how easy it is to fill the net – no more getting covered in hay, or wasting hay on the barn floor while trying to wrangle a limp hay net over a bale or flake(s) of hay. Once filled, it is a breeze to close and lock the opening agains the wall. Great product design and execution – well conceived, and well made! I especially like that the hardware (wood screws) necessary to mount the unit were included.

Great slow feeder
Works well, net appears strong, like how it folds flat to lock. It is attached to my barn so sometimes pushing it up to get open is a little stiff and have to watch I don’t grate my knuckles on the wood barn, but very sturdy well made product. Horse chooses to eat from this versus the portion of her clip I put in the open feeder for some reason!

I was disappointed in the quality of the netting
This hay hoop looks nicer than the other hoops I ordered. My horse, however, was able to chew through this netting to make a much bigger hole to pull the hay through. I was disappointed in the quality of the netting.

Social media friend suggested these. I had been looking for something for our new barn, these are easy to use and work fabulous! No issues so far and our one mare is rough with her hay bags! Definitely worth the price

I love these! I like to feed my horses with slow feed hay nets but hated stuffing them. It was messy and took extra time. I wanted to still let them have slow feed hay nets without this being such a pain in the neck for me. So I ordered these and all I can say is WOW! After installing (which took a bit) I changed the nets over to my slow feed nets and now my horses get the benefit of slow feeding and I get the benefit of quick feeding! Well worth it and I would definitely buy again (if I had more horses but my husband says NO)
