Our vet said to try it on a very deep, basketball sized wound on a horseâs hip, that had been hit by a pickup truck.We are currently using, and the jury is still out, but i can say when used as directed, with the baking powder, you can get the medicine deep into the wound using a spray bottle to administer. The baking powder is best applied by sprinkling into can lid, and flipping the lid at the desired spot on the wound.It dries the bleeding, dries the discharge, and gets a scab on the wound quickly. That much is already evident. We will see how the wound finally heals.
