Great shampoo
I forgot how much I liked this shampoo. This was my go-to oatmeal shampoo in my groom shop for years and I can’t remember why I quit using it. I bought a gallon a couple weeks ago and so glad I did. This shampoo gets the dogs clean, rinses easily, helps itchy skin and has a nice clean scent that lasts for days.

The Best Shampoo for my dog!
I have used Top Perfomance Oatmeal Dog Shampoo and Cat Shampoo for the past two years for my Shitzu Bichon dog. Her coat is shiny and silky and she smells so good. Easy to lather up and my dog loves the spa bath I give her. I also use Performance Oatmeal conditioner after her shampoo. I am often stopped in the street and asked how I keep her looking so beautiful. Best products.

Effective “over the counter” treatment for mild skin irritations, including fleabite dermatitis. Mild, earthy, lemony scent that mostly disappears when the dog is dry. Not for intense cleaning jobs, but works well enough if you shampoo, rinse, shampoo and soak for 5 minutes, then do a final rinse. Especially if your dog is itching, be sure the water you are bathing with is not hot but somewhere between warm and cool. Water that is too warm will make the itching worse. There is a matching, really rich conditioner that softens the coat a lot (that could be good or bad, depending on your dog) but it also increases drying time (conditioner feels like it’s cholesterol-based). Fyi, if I know I’m dealing with fungal stuff, I use melaleuca (tea tree oil) instead of oatmeal.

Good Product, odd Fragrance
I liked the shampoo, easy lather and it seemed to make my dog who’s been suffering from dry skin have a much easier time.Knocking one star because I just think it’s odd that it’s got a cucumber melon kind of fragrance for an oatmeal shampoo. Was thinking it’d smell like oatmeal lol.

Wonderful Product.
I used to work in a grooming shop and we used a lot of Top Performance products. I decided to try this one for my German Shepherds at home with dry skin. It has worked wonderfully and smells awesome. I also bought the pump. I squirt about 12 pumps into a gallon pitcher and fill it up with water, mix it, and slowly pour on my dogs while working it into their fur. It suds up wonderfully and leaves them so shiny. We recent rescued a Black shepherd who probably hadn’t been bathed for months…if ever. She had dry skin and thinning patches of fur. I’ve washed her once a week for the past three weeks and her fur is growing back in, she has a constant shine on her coat, and she feels so soft.

Love this gentle, clean shampoo
I love this shampoo! Iâve used other brands and they donât come close to this. First time Iâve used this scent. And Iâm so pleased with it because itâs not too overwhelming. Itâs not fruity, or too flowery. I love it! It lathers super well, and washes out easy. I could tell it left my dogs coat clean, light and fluffy. No excess wax film.
