Lights are great – Awkward to display objects
The black lights work well. I purchased 2 but there is no way to mount from above objects – would be better if a stand or idea sheet would be included or suggested. 4 zip ties only work if there was a frame of some sort.

These enable close-by items to glow in the dark.
These are a great idea. Rechargeable lets you situate them wherever you want without having to concern yourself with electrical cords. They are very light-duty. They need to be pretty darn close to an object in order to see it glow. I am not sure what the technical definition of a black-light is, but to me, a black-light has always lit up very, very dark purple black. These do not at all. They are fairly bright, and you can easily see all the LED bulbs that make them work. I like the way you can light up one side only or both sides at once. The way I see these working is more like a picture light. Instead of being able to make a room glow in the dark or most of a room, these seem to need to be situated directly over the objects you want to see glow. Like I said, light-duty, personal-use glow-in-the-dark lights.

Lights have 2 settings, either both strips on, or just one side. Added reusable zipties + suction cups are a great add-on included with these, in case you wanted to attach them to a glass window. Battery life depends on whether or not you’re on both sides or just the one. Honestly, just the one will work, and prolong life for your entire party. Silicone ends give it the illusion that it’s waterproof, but I still wouldn’t expose it to rain directly, but would still be great outside (as long as you don’t have a lot of bugs)

Not Lightsabers! Awesome Battery Life.
First and foremost, these are not lightsabers. Please do not give them to your children without prefacing with the aforementioned statement. Besides that, these black lights put out a good deal of power but the battery lasts exceptionally long. I appreciate the fact that I can turn on either one side or both sides of the light and that they are LEDs so you know you are getting your bang for your buck on battery life. They don’t seem to get too hot over time and recharging them as a simple as popping open a cap plugging in a USB cable and then plug it into the wall. They are roughly the length of my forearm, so they are not too big. But like I mentioned before they are a decent size to where children may think that they are lightsabers. Be warned. Overall I would say I got my value for the money and these lights function as they are meant to function and they are very easy to use whether that be to turn them on or turn them off.
