Even temperature and quality adhesive
Although I like the temperature gauge on this mat I don’t care very much for the fact that it never laid completely flat. I have a crab tank and I needed to put it on the back wall of the tank and I could not get the mat to lay flat so I could put the tape flat on the side. I eventually gave up and just put it on my tank and it does seem to do a good job. The adhesive does seem to be holding on pretty well so I don’t think I’ll have any issues with it falling off.

I bought 3 these quite a while ago (over a year) and they are still working fantastically for my insect cages so they seem to be quite durable. They have the sticky side and adjustable heat so theyâre very easy to use. They were a great price too. Iâm very happy with these.

Perfect for leopard gecko
Works perfect for my daughterâs leopard gecko. Apply the adhesive to the side without the writing and then stick to a corner of the tank. I like that it has an adjustable knob to be able to customize the temperature.

Missing pieces
Heating pad is okay – good size for a 20 gallon tank. However, I put the rating lower as it as obviously resold without checking for quality first. It is supposed to come with an adhesive sheet to attach it to the bottom of the tank; instead, mine came with a ripped off strip where the 3M adhesive strip was once, so it’s not usable to me unless I go get adhesive strips to attach it. Amazon refunded me so I’m satisfied, but check your items if you plan to resell and use Amazon as a third party.
