Great simple reptile hide!
This simple and sturdy hide is great for our king snake. Itâs nice and deep (which allows us to partially bury it with space to spare for him to feel safe,) and the slate is great as a basking surface, which will also be great for rubbing across on his next shed. The slate also means it has enough weight, that our king isnât going to be pushing this hide around like he does with some others, which is also helpful in keeping it positioned for the heat lamp.The construction is simple (which is what I was looking for,) and easy to clean when necessary.Itâs a great addition to our snake enclosure!

Absolutely love it!!!! Great pleco cave! Heavy. Make sure anything that all your snails and loaches are clear before placing it. I’ve ordered tea lights to help illuminate ours. It’s a great addition to our Cathulu cave! I love that the bottom is open. Makes for easy cleaning!

The hide is made really well. It’s big and heavy and I’m hoping will last me years. My adult axolotl fits in it very nicely. Unlike some things I’ve used for hides it’s extremely dark in the inner corners. I like having my lights on so my plants can survive, but I don’t like causing my axo discomfort. This seemed like a pretty good compromise. Would recommend this seller to anyone and definitely will purchase again if I find I’m in need of slate aquarium furnishings.

This hide came so fast and SO well wrapped for shipping! Itâs obvious the seller cares about getting the product to its destination quickly and in one piece! Iâve ordered slate things and they always arrive broken, til now! We ordered our juvenile beardie an adult size hide bc they grow so fast I didnât see the point in starting with a small one.
